It is necessary at this point

Parliament is never going to agree on a deal even if it were made of gold

Unemployment is the lowest in like 40 years also

And idk why you'd cite GDP or currency value as a useful metric

some labour MP tried this last week

I don't want to keep talking about it

๐Ÿ˜‚

Lol

That's interesting because nowhere in the report they reference does it say anything of the sort

"The UK is already up to a staggering ยฃ66bn poorer because of the Brexit vote after economic growth evaporated, experts warn today."

There is no such statement in the report

Nowhere in the reports that article references (https://www.ifs.org.uk/uploads/The-2019-IFS-Green-Budget.pdf), does it say that the wealth of the country has declined. The report says that "GDP is roughly 2.5โ€“3.0% (ยฃ55โ€“ยฃ66 billion) below where we think it would have been without Brexit." So rather it's a speculative at best prediction of what the author thinks would actually be the case based on their own subjective forecasts. As these forecasts are entirely speculative and as there is no way to affirm their validity, it is totally unknown whether or not they are even remotely correct.

ie: it's an opinion of two pro remain economists.

It's not even framing as such

It's just an entirely subjective opinion of two economists lol. It has the same validity as publishing a report with the predictions of economists who were pro brexit

I do agree that there is likely to be damage to the economy in the short term

We are not heading into a recession lmao

No a recession is a decline

If what you say is the case, the economy has not declined

A recession is marked by high unemployment, stagnant wages, and fall in retail sales

we have the lowest unemployment in 50 years

I'm not ignoring numbers lol

As I pointed out a recession is a significant decline in the economy and is defined by several factors

Ok so if the economy falls by 0.1%, in your mind that's a recession lmao?

Even if it did, isn't that literally what the polls said pre EU referendum?

If they were wrong before, what's to say they're not wrong now?

Discord didn't add the trans flag

Never said it was a bad thing ๐Ÿ˜›

On November 24, Jared Taylor talked with Nadir Ahmed of Mercy for Mankind about whether Muslim immigration is good for America and the West. Mr. Ahmed, who wants the entire world to submit to Islam, did his best to defend Muslim immigration.

And why am I subbed to this channel?

What time is the vote?

Adding to this, this exists for getting books too https://libgen.pw/

If Long Bailey becomes leader they're probably done honestly

More likely that another center-left party absorbs the LAB vote than they recover properly...

Maybe Jess Phillips

But they are all awful

What's the criteria for a marginal? Winning by less than about 10% or?

Wouldn't be surprised to see her lose her seat next election

Notice that they also lost 9% of their vote to the LDs

I want it purely to see the salt

Most of the tweets just seem to be people outraged by the fact #WomenAreTrash is a thing

And that is probably the reason why it is trending ๐Ÿ˜›

That would be very very funny

He clearly has no understanding of the current political situation in the UK. The Brexit deadlock, the large numbers of Labour leave voters who were betrayed by their elected representatives, the inability of Jeremy Corbyn to appeal to anyone than students/ first gen immigrants etc.

"If you are a Tory voter in the United Kingdom then you are either an idiot or you are one of the very very small people who benefit extensively from the policies of austerity"

"He did essentially no campaigning for this election"

I just watched the whole video

He didn't use the word "Brexit" once.

Stupid, clueless commie

I got banned spontaneously a while ago

I think they have someone in here watching the chat

100% of leftists subs are echo chambers that ban you for expressing dissenting viewpoints

Also >90% of the content posted to /r/TheRightCantMeme/ is based and funny but they can't stand it and just **have** to get worked up about it because they insulate themselves from differing opinion

Fun fact: for a while if you typed "the right can't meme" into Google, it would ask you if you meant "the left can't meme"

Or something like that

``The data shows exactly the opposite was the case as Labour voters are overwhelmingly Remainers, outnumbering Labour Leavers by two to one.``
But where are these people located? They're not in Bassetlaw, Redcar or Blyth Valley. They're in London, Birmingham and Cardiff.

And these places will overwhelmingly vote for Labour representatives anyway.

If they can't win back the North, they probably won't win another election ever again.

Historically these places were Labour though

Or mostly at least

It's 2010

I was posting it in reference to "Historically these places were Labour though"

``can we please give John Bercow a people's knighthood``

"We need to be able to sell the national park to everybody in Britain, all society, and it's important that it doesn't just become exclusive to one single use group," he said. "The moment we get into that position I think national parks start to lose their relevance and therefore the very reason for calling it a national park and spending public money." **Research shows visitors to the Lake District, where the rugged fells inspired the romantic poets and author Beatrix Potter, are too heavily weighted towards older, able-bodied white people.**

"Africa is too black"

Very much so
