I know your speaking bantu though <:shrug:349342983763656705>

2019-12-29 23:41:02 UTC

'Bantu' is a racial epiteth..jus sayin.

2019-12-29 23:43:13 UTC

I don't care

2019-12-29 23:43:17 UTC

@Benjamin Henry with the recent news of Ebola outbreaks.. it's not hard to be pessimistic about 'expansive perspectives'. The much needed medical compund's were set alight and sacked by the locals - go figure.

2019-12-29 23:43:59 UTC

I mean, they aint wrong

2019-12-29 23:44:12 UTC

But they aint right either, just taking a very insular look

2019-12-29 23:44:14 UTC

I get it, that sucks. But the overall trajectory has been for the good

2019-12-29 23:44:16 UTC

'Most people that voted Labour agreed with Labours Brexit Policy' How shocking, Who could have saw that coming

2019-12-29 23:44:39 UTC

Bantu is the correct term for the language group isiZulu is part of. So 🤷‍♂️

@Benjamin Henry when the next big financial crash comes, and it will, the outlook will become progressively worse - and so much worse for the 3rd world. ..

2019-12-29 23:46:19 UTC

Nah the third world by its nature is far more protected from a western banking crash

2019-12-29 23:46:30 UTC

Especially Africa 🤔

2019-12-29 23:47:02 UTC

The exchange rate between the ZA Rand, and the British Pound is a good indicator of how it is looking for investment and progress in African Countries.

2019-12-29 23:47:19 UTC

I don't think that's proved to be the case. When I was talking about infant mortality rates, if you look at the trends, they continued to go down regardless of the global economic situation

2019-12-29 23:47:29 UTC

And peeps need to start switching onto Africa, because it is the future tbh, both for conflict and for trade

2019-12-29 23:48:14 UTC

@juryrigging go tell that to the Bantu's in Africa. GL with that.

2019-12-29 23:49:26 UTC

``The data shows exactly the opposite was the case as Labour voters are overwhelmingly Remainers, outnumbering Labour Leavers by two to one.``
But where are these people located? They're not in Bassetlaw, Redcar or Blyth Valley. They're in London, Birmingham and Cardiff.

2019-12-29 23:49:49 UTC

And these places will overwhelmingly vote for Labour representatives anyway.

2019-12-29 23:50:03 UTC

We aren't in Africa. So when Storin says he can dentify you are speaing Bantu but doesnt know which language in the group r what exactly u are saying, there is nothing wrng with that.

2019-12-29 23:50:08 UTC

If they can't win back the North, they probably won't win another election ever again.

2019-12-29 23:50:45 UTC

Honestly if we cut Scotland and NI labour will never win again period

2019-12-29 23:50:51 UTC

Even IF they took the north

2019-12-29 23:51:24 UTC

In fact the only way the opposition could win is by uniting and calling for proportional representation, however that will lead to more hung parliaments, and less regional representation

2019-12-29 23:51:43 UTC

FPTP is good for that very reason

2019-12-29 23:52:14 UTC

And when people come out with the argument "well my vote wont count" tell that to the north who flipped

2019-12-29 23:53:00 UTC

Cutting Scotland would be both economically and politically beneficial to the UK 🤔

2019-12-29 23:54:34 UTC

@Storin are you sure that's true? When I was looking at the election map, it seemed to me like Labour was totally contained in England. Scotland and NI had their own parties and hardly elected any Labour MPs

2019-12-29 23:54:52 UTC

Historically these places were Labour though

2019-12-29 23:55:03 UTC

Or mostly at least

2019-12-29 23:55:06 UTC

Yea, but for labour to ever win they will have to coalition, the SNP is most likely candidate in exchange for another referendum

2019-12-29 23:55:30 UTC

LibDems are basically out of the run (and it is a shame the whigs are going down like that) and most other minority parties don't have the numbers

2019-12-29 23:56:31 UTC

The whole reason nothing got done for the past 3 years by govt was literally because all of the opposition parties worked together to frustrate the tories who held a minority government, and even when they had a few seats majority those few seats would make demands (both remainers and leavers)

2019-12-29 23:57:18 UTC

That info is well out of date autumn

2019-12-29 23:57:36 UTC

It's 2010

2019-12-29 23:57:47 UTC

Of the 59 seats I think 48 are SNP, 3-4 are lib dems, and the rest are tories

2019-12-29 23:57:47 UTC

I was posting it in reference to "Historically these places were Labour though"

2019-12-29 23:57:49 UTC

@juryrigging wa'eva bro. I wasn't hatin on him..it was just jestin okay 🙂
