I should add the caveat that my preference for lower volume applies strictly to the heavy compound movements i.e. squat, deadlift,press etc
The lack of squat focus of my oly program took away my 315 PR low bar back squat. feelsbadman
I think I'll pick the SS program back up in conjunction with my oly program which will basically have me lifting almost every day

My oly coach wants me to switch to high bar which sucks since I can't lift nearly as much weight that way

Did the tough mudder 10mile course on Saturday. Overall pleased with how I did. Last year I could barely keep a jogging pace for the 5 mile and this year I jogged at least 9
@BryceB-ND#1845 no doubt. I was supposed to run with a group of co-workers but they all dropped out so I didn't have anyone to pressure me to keep the pace up. Definitely an exercise in mental fortitude

@Suomi Stronk have you noticed a decrease in strength with the cut? If so how significant?
@Suomi Stronk how did you feel at 200 lbs in terms of endurance? I'd like to try to get to 200 but I need to stay pretty mobile for rugby.

What's everyone's strategy for managing bad gym days? I've been struggling with my squat lately where my old working set weight feels so heavy I can barely squeeze out one or two reps and it's incredibly frustrating and discouraging.
I think I can attribute that to being overworked tbh. I do Oly lifting 3x a week and then accessory work/strength training on the other weekdays, play rugby on Saturdays and soccer on Sundays.
