*Stop focusing on making stuff hard to take down, it's gotten you in trouble.*
Zip ties are fine.
Or just standard paracord-style rope.
Alright
Carabiners can just be unscrewed
Pro tip: actually get a good photo of the banner and it'll last forever on the internet.
Looking at you, @Goodest_Boy
honestly just buy a 1x2 cut it into section and staple them to the bottom
its cheap adds weight and keeps the banner taught
Water bottles with zip ties going around them and through the banner, with duct tape over the cuts in the banner to keep it from tearing is best.
For cheapness, ofc
For quality you could also get a PCV pipe of some kind.
Thin(ish) wooden dowel rods from a Home Depot type place.
Main focus is to make sure *nothing falls from the banner onto traffic*. *That's bad opics, causing a pile up on the highway*
I tried making a banner tpday ๐
that over spray makes it look edgy af
Im worried people will think its about veganism
for the size you are using you can get a sample size flag blue paint and a 2in roller and have a clean look for around 10$
1. We never use red paint
2. Stencils way too small
3. The idea said "the rest", not everyone
4. Material looks way too thin
Get some thicker material, bigger stencils, and try a bucket of flag blue paint, and a roller and all that. Will make it way better, and you can use that bucket for dozens more banners.
Really good effort, though. All things considered. It has a lot of character, that one.
Haha yeah we were looking at all the materials and probably thought it wouldnt work put but we tbought it be good to do it to figure some stuff out
Trial and error is key
I ruined my first banner
Yeah i feel that. Could you resend the guide?
It's pinned
in activism?
@Thomas Ryan Yeah I'm not seeing it pinned in activism. I think it was there at one point, but it disappeared. If you wouldn't mind throwing it up again, I'll make sure I save it where I'll remember it this time.
Will do when I get home
Out with the DFW crew
Thank you
Doing a banner drop?
We sort of boned this first one, but yeah, hopefully we'll nail the next one and do it.
Thanks
Next one will be alot better ๐ but glad we got the hang of it today
