Stay away from kratom, just take what is perscribed to you, maybe get a pill cutter and take half of the recommemded if the pain isnt to much.
Stay strong I got you in my prayers man @Jacsac
Kratom wont give you proper pain relief if you are getting a pain map you will end up spending more money on kratom then your perscription plus anyone shilling kratom is likely a chinese sleeper
I am taking halves already. The doctor had to reset needle entry multiple times after hitting hardware and bone grafts so yesterday was a real ass kicker. Thanks @Beemen
@Beemen >pill cutter
Did someone actually invent such a device?
@Barry N. Terdastein grandma needs pain relief but doesn't need to be zonked all day
@Beemen fuentesshowshalseyknife.jpg
@Beemen i understand there are very reasonable applications for this im just being a dickhead
naw I thought it was funny, you're good buddy @Barry N. Terdastein
Iv just moved to a new area and the only Catholic church around heres preacher is an Indian and the Deacon is Mexican. Half the services are also is spanish
Should i just go to a different denomination?
latin mass if it's there
Well your primary concern should be how orthodox the services are. Preferably you should try to find a TLM in your area, which can be searched for here: http://www.traditio.com/tradlib/masslat.pdf (just ignore the recommended vs not recommended indicators if you are not highly familiar with the differences between the various traditional groups).
If there is no TLM nearby then try to find a Mass with the most traditional liturgy.
Guys I'm going to give my first confession Saturday (being confirmed on the 31st) and I'm wondering exactly how i should confess? Given my whole life, etc it seems kind of difficult. I thought about making generalizations for a lot of it, but I'm not sure. Would appreciate some advice ๐
Genuinely reflect on the worst things youve done. Recognize why they are wrong, and how they have affected you and the people around you. Then ask for forgiveness.
Do an examination of conscience, also don't be afraid to ask the priest for guidance
Remember, this is for you. It only goes as far as you push it
@BottomoftheNinth @Nicholas Istvรกn thank you guys for responding, I appreciate the advice
Feeling somewhat lighthearted this evening folks. Found out today that my praying was not in vane, and an acquaintance Iโve met over discord has converted from paganism.
@Thomas good to hear man. It seemed you were having a crisis there for a minute.
Yeah I was in a bit of a sinch.
Faith was waning.
Been on the precipice since I was like fourteen and my life wasn't boding too well. But it's stuff like that, that just as I'm about to fall, he reminds me why.
Amen. I started to turn back to God this last year and I feel like I am climbing Mt. Everest. I have prayed more in a day than I have in 5 years.
Didn't go to confession today ๐ฆ
I have break next week though so I'm going to go to confession and presanctified
Hey guys is this a good complete version of the bible?
sorry if thats a stupid question im just trying to get back to the religion. Iv always believed but i have kinda drifted in the last few years
The Douay-Rheims is the ideal, but yes this is the best edition if you want a more modern translation that is easier to read
Thanks
ill probably just get both
@Bret also a big problem that i have when i go to confession is there are somes sins that i have trouble to genuinely regret... if this is your case, do not worry and just tell it to the priest
@francois le francais thank you, I'll keep that in mind
Someone tell me, by Catholic standards, were the founders heretical?
Should all nations be beholden to the supreme and holy authority of the Pope?
And if they should, should they have any sovereignty over themselves or should a portion of it be voided to the Pope?
maybe If the pope had our best interests in mind
Idk if om going to get banned for this but quite frankly i think the current pope is a traitor who advocates for muslims and nonwhites to destroy our homelands
You are fine Nick thinks this pope is lame and so do a lot of catholics
how can we retake the papacy without literally becoming cardinals?
If u don't like the pope go to orthodox
@Thomas The founder fathers by catholic and eastern orthodox standards were heretics
The Authority of the Pope is Dogmatic, the pope has no reason to rule directly over any given nation besides rome.
Are they in hell?
It is Catholic teaching that it is a general mystery as to weather someone is in hell or not, naturally of course you have a very low chance of being saved if you are not Catholic, however it is still possible.
The way we used to look at is was that Kings ruled in the place of God over their kingdom, thus naturally they would work together with the Pope.
The Catholic Idea of Church and State is not for the church to rule the state but for rather Church and State to work together.
in harmony.
I like the idea of a central authority
i just believe the pope should be a genuine good Christian
Then would the foundation of the US be intrinsically heretical in that it deliberately separates church and state? @Deleted User
Correct
If im not mistaken most of the founders weren't Catholic
I dunno about this tbh
If the papacy seeks to connect with states they've been doing a very bad job
They have been doing a SHIT job
I mean the Irish are gonna change their Constitution for abortion ffs
So why should we wish to preserve the union if our foundation as a political entity (because ethnically/nationally we were effectively muddled by Lincoln) was inherently heretical?
Eh we do the best by the people here
Is all
Ask Nick not me hes the leader of this whole thing.
I don't think any of us are like die for Israel types
This is a great question to put in the ASK nick channel @Thomas
There's never been a perfectly Catholic country
It's not like we move
True
I have, he only answered it partly. Said he may devote an entire video to it.
I hope he does tbh
I desperately want an answer.
I mean I can tell you that It is viewed as a good thing in the Church to be a patriot
Well it's not a matter of fact that there's ever been a perfectly Catholic country, rather that our country was founded on a neutral type of secular Christianity. A non-denominational type of belief. @๐ญ๐ต
It is good to love the country you were born in, because God placed you there for a reason
weather it is a heretical one or not.
Well why be a patriot of a country which goes again God?
I mean, at least in modernity, we essentially live in a massive Sodom and Gamorrah.
A true Patriot would want to fix his country so that is it inline with Gods commandments
Thats the whole west TBH
Then would we still be our country?
Idk would you consider Catholic americans american?
I mean honestly our race comes first and the church is a very powerful when unified
yee
Well it depends on where their loyalties rest, do they denounce the foundation of the country in favor of their faith? (As any devout man ought to)
Simple question, Is a devout Catholic an american
A catholic who is not a hypocrit
or rather CAN a devout catholic be an american*
That is solely dependent on what they truly believe. Do they believe that the US is contrary to Catholic belief, or do they embrace the heresy upon which we were founded?
Naturally they would reject the heresy.
Then no I don't think they would.
They'd be something different.
So all the italians and poles and czechs that have lived in the north for 100's of years were never really americans?
Well, if they keep their culture with them, and renounce the founding of the country which they come to,
then no.
They weren't.
In the same light that the Bantu in Rhodesia were never really and truly British.
Or the Iroquois with their treaties.
Man you are really making me want to hear an awnser to this question from nick tbh
Its a hard question.
It scares me, if I'm honest.
The concept of going against something which my bloodline was so tied to is horrific to me.
Hey if it makes you feel any better, my Father was disowned by my grandfather who was a communist
So I sort of understand.
I think there's a mild difference there.
In that communists are more or less rootless.
Your grandfather was essentially a traitor towards his culture and people with such ideas. A violation of his ancestry and traditions.
Your father returned (presumably) to what it meant to be a part of that culture.
He did.
Im not sure if im missing something here but are you essentially saying why support the US if it went against catholic ideals in its founding?
Yes.
Our fundamental idea as to what it means to be American,
is
for lack of a better description
a heresy.
Ah ok yeah i agree it was and it sucks but realistically the only thing we can do not aside from creating a new country is try to make the Catholic religion dominant in this country
@Nicholas J Fuentes Nick buddy, I'm having a pretty desperate time here, man.
Please, please find some way around this.
Well folks. It would appear I'm no longer wanted here. I'm fairly sure I'll be converting to Catholicism soon. I wish you all well, and I hope you continue to put America First. God bless. Soon as I get money coming in I'll pledge on Maker Support (Makersupport?) Good night!
Thomas come on dude
Don't leave
wtf happened?
@Thomas#5737 what's going on big guy?
If not subjecting one's government to the authority of the pope is a heresy, I'd like to know the precise doctrine that states that Christians must subject their government to the pope. And I'd like to know the name of the heresy, and which ecumenical council decided this.
Catholic regionalism
If I started a nightly rosary on here would anyone join me
I've been praying it a lot

Tfw you're the only one younger than 50 in church
Our generation is so degenerate
<#402353090042527756> is contaminated
A side benefit of the Latin Mass is that they're often filled with young people and families, especially if it's a parish that offers the TLM exclusively
@here We gonna do a rosary soon fellas

>not being Lutheran
<:powerthink:402373351961788417>
Are Lutheran churches serious?
No
What is the significance of Christ riding on a donkey? Is this a signifier of humility?
Its a mode of transportation
Stop over analyzing everything
can I get a response from someone that won't be burning in Hell?
lol
@Deleted User Not being a Catholic <:powerthink:402373351961788417>
>everyone who isn't Catholic will burn in hell
Typical (((Roman)))
Nice strawman buddy. I never said that ๐
>not understanding catholic teaching on anything
Typical (((lutheran)))

^
lovely mass
remember this from my child hood
man ill remeber this as long as i live
watching it with the fAMILY now so glad its on youtube
If anyone wants to join me and Torcher in tonights rosary let me know
group prayers are POWERFUL
Lutherans (or any other culturally & theologically rich Protestant denominations that aren't pozzed), Catholics, and Orthodox Christians-->convince me why I ought to try your denomination
Actually Catholics don't have to convince me because I'm already locked on SSPX/FSSP (though I could use some pointers to getting adjusted to traditional Latin mass), and Orthodox Christians only need to give me pointers too
Get a good 1962 Missal, Angelus Press has a fantastic one if you can afford it
There was a brief question on one of the last America Firsts where Nick mentioned he believed in Catholicism and not Orthodoxy because of the authority of St. Peter. St. Peter presided over Antioch as well as Rome, I don't understand the argument.
Eastern schismatics don't believe in the supreme authority of the See of Rome, which presides over the whole world
Why isn't it the See of Antioch, why Rome
Peter was in Rome when he died and his successors stayed in Rome. It's easy to understand why he was in Rome to spread Christianity considering its political and geographic significance
Sure. But why does the See of Rome have authority over Antioch, which also had St. Peter's disciples
It seems clear to me that Orthodoxy and the patriarchs have just as much claim to authority as the See
Because in Matthew 16:18 Christ explicitly establishes Peter as the head of the Church, which is why the apostolic sees have bishopric authority under the see of Peter.
I see
I'll read about that
@Nicholas Istvรกn what is a missal?
Is that something I should send to Israel

Guys howmst do I become Christian
i was reading about how puritans believe God sometimes judges them as a collective community, so in order to receive favorable judgement they get rid of the bad elements/people in their society. a more communal basis like that is very powerful
It seems to have worked very well, we can see this by the fact that puritans no longer exist
In theory it could be resurrected, but it sounds kind of gay
Not sure if you're trolling @Mephisto but text version -> https://www.bible.com/bible/111/JHN.3.16.niv ... but good question for call in show - would love to hear Nick's answer on that
Only half-trolling, I know its an incredibly vague question. I've been looking into it for awhile but have basically just been reading / information seeking, I need to go to church or something
Sometimes churches help, other times they're filled with too many drones. I'm NO expert by any stretch but I'm pretty sure it's simple as that John 3:16 verse. Though I know this is Nick's house and he's Catholic (I'm Protestant) so he may have different input on the topic.
Keep them in your prayers
Pray for each other in this holy week
Chrism Mass in the morning
GO TO MASS
Rosary a day keeps legion at bay
Hey fellas, this is gonna be a brainlet question, but what stuff should I do to return to the Catholic Church?
I havenโt gone to church since early high school and I think that I should embrace my roots and continue the family tradition. But I feel like that I should do more than just going to church.
Confession first then start attending mass. You should look up a Catholic examination of conscience to confess all of the mortal sins before recieving communion
if you are baptised and confirmed that is all you need
Chances are you're going to go for a week then not bother, so just show up
Also check out like 5 jurjes minimum, don't walk into a jurj filled with 56 and never walk into another
