Matthew 27:25 is the answer to all jewish behavior

I've been going to the TLM exclusively for about two and a half years.

There isn't anything mandating ties as far as I know, although dressing formally is highly preferred

When it comes to formality of dress, including veils for women, you'll see higher standards practiced the more traditional you go, in terms of which 'group' the Mass is associated with

The novus ordo was crafted by judeo-masonic liberals in the Church. Stay away if at all possible

Yes, @manes, and the epistle (reading) is also repeated in english

Were/are you Catholic? Have you ever been to a Latin Mass or novus ordo Mass?

For the TLM really all you have to do is dress nice and show up. There's nothing complicated about it

Most Mass centers have paper missals you can use to follow along in Latin and English

If anyone has questions or is confused by the the different groups and priestly societies that adhere to the Traditional Latin Mass, @ or DM me. If you're new to the TLM then just find a Mass location and don't worry about the complicated details right away.

There are major differences between the conciliar, FSSP and ICKSP, neo-SSPX, SSPX Resistance, and sedevacantist positions on the crisis in the Church, and it's very easy to get ideologically influenced by one particular group before you really know what each one stands for.

Under normal circumstances, serious divisions like this do not exist in the Church. As lay persons of course we are just Catholics and don't formally belong to any sub-group in the same way our priests and bishops may belong to of a priestly fraternal society, but we may informally support a society or loose group association based on their position on the present crisis.

If anyone is interested I may just post a brief as possible summary of each position in this chat.

Go to the church with the Latin Mass, keep going to Mass

explain your situation to the priest

You could also ask a traditional Catholic priest here, and about any other questions you have
https://www.facebook.com/groups/1598679000392046/

Did you go to novus ordo or TLM?

If you don't know it was probably novus ordo

Well no, not really. There are eastern rites like the Byzantine rite but that's largely irrelevant to us, the vast majority of the world uses the Latin or Roman rite.

yeah both of those things a product of the revolution in the Church....

It's been around for about 50 years, it depends on the church though

In short, the 'Traditional Latin Mass' was just *the Mass* that grew organically for millenia. It was at Vatican II in the 1960s that progressives (jews, freemasons, communists) in the Church finally staged their revolution, undermining several doctrines and implementing the (oddly protestant-like) Novus Ordo Missae and ruberics, which among other things has resulted in what can only be described as liturgical anarchy.

Since JPII took a sledgehammer to the centuries-old canonization protocols including the rigorous devil's advocate process in 1983, canonizations since then do not hold the same weight that they did previously. Liberal popes who welcomed the revolution, and by word and deed regularly contradicted the pre-VII teachings of the Church, and never underwent anywhere near the same level of scrutiny as all the other saints, are probably not saints.

On a side note, traditionalists in the Church are often criticized and ignored for "being so negative" and always counter-signalling news and other things that make people feel good. It's easy to see where the criticism comes from, and it's certainly just as frustrating and painful for us if not moreso being forced to constantly criticize the very men who should be leading us towards Heaven. But we must never stray from the truth no matter how hard it is to say it.

The holy trinity of Catholic books:
- Douay Rheims Bible
- Catechism of the Council of Trent
- 1962 Roman Catholic Daily Missal

It's sad how even in the dissident right, actually practicing your faith by doing things like praying is still seen as taboo or "uncool".

I never eat full meals anyway lel

Trad churches have confession before and during Mass

This entire wall of text falls apart under the slightest scrutiny

The original spoken language of Matthew 16:13 was Aramaic, not Greek. There was no masculine or feminine, just *Kepha.*

And in the Greek translation, *Petros* and *Petra* had the same meaning. They just used *Petros* for Peter's name because *Petra* was the common word at the time but would have been improper for Peter's name.

California ran two democrat senators and no republicans in 2016, that probably effected republican turnout

Notice how they're trying to "canonize" every single liberal (post-1958) pope as quickly as possible.

Since the process for canonizing saints was dismantled in 1983, recent 'canonizations' are meaningless, thanfully.

well it would make sense why he was in california

DAMN

the yearbook looks real though, if only we can get a confirmation on what yearbook it actually is

THIS, this is what I kept thinking about after the Cruz shooting, I vaguely remembered it but just came across it on twitter again

"The #NeverAgain caravan Bus One"

is this fucking satire?

this must be the guy that got fired

Reminder: If you're into Catholic devotions, stay away from divine mercy and focus on the Sacred Heart instead. It's a fraud devotion that emphasizes false 'mercy' and salvation without true repentance via the sacrament of confession.

@Thomas
First of all, I will say that the human element of the Catholic Church is without a doubt currently at its lowest, weakest point in the last two millenia since the time of Christ. Anybody who converts to the True Faith at this point in time, given the unprecedented circumstances, is already practically a saint. This crisis is not without precedent or forwarning, St. Athanasius is a great example of a man who heroically fought the Church establishment during the time of the Arian heresy and guilded a faithful remnant through the dark time. In addition, many saints and visionaries warned that such an event would occur, for example St. Francis of Assisi:

*1. "The time is fast approaching in which there will be great trials and afflictions; perplexities and dissensions, both spiritual and temporal, will abound; the charity of many will grow cold, and the malice of the wicked will increase.
2. The devils will have unusual power, the immaculate purity of our Order, and of others, will be so much obscured that there will be very few Christians who will obey the true Sovereign Pontiff and the Roman Church with loyal hearts and perfect charity. At the time of this tribulation a man, not canonically elected, will be raised to the Pontificate, who, by his cunning, will endeavor to draw many into error and death.
3. Then scandals will be multiplied, our Order will be divided, and many others will be entirely destroyed, because they will consent to error instead of opposing it.
4. There will be such diversity of opinions and schisms among the people, the religious and the clergy, that, except those days were shortened, according to the words of the Gospel, even the elect would be led into error, were they not specially guided, amid such great confusion, by the immense mercy of God.*

*5. Then our Rule and manner of life will be violently opposed by some, and terrible trials will come upon us. Those who are found faithful will receive the crown of life; but woe to those who, trusting solely in their Order, shall fall into tepidity, for they will not be able to support the temptations permitted for the proving of the elect.
6. Those who preserve in their fervor and adhere to virtue with love and zeal for the truth, will suffer injuries and, persecutions as rebels and schismatics; for their persecutors, urged on by the evil spirits, will say they are rendering a great service to God by destroying such pestilent men from the face of the earth. but the Lord will be the refuge of the afflicted, and will save all who trust in Him. And in order to be like their Head, [Christ] these, the elect, will act with confidence, and by their death will purchase for themselves eternal life; choosing to obey God rather than man, they will fear nothing, and they will prefer to perish rather than consent to falsehood and perfidy.
7. Some preachers will keep silence about the truth, and others will trample it under foot and deny it. Sanctity of life will be held in derision even by those who outwardly profess it, for in those days Jesus Christ will send them not a true pastor, but a destroyer."*

As for the Church vs. American heritage, one was founded by Christ Himself while the other was founded on liberal enlightenment values. Culturally and spiritually, Christendom peaked long before America came along. While we should love our country and make it the best we can, we should not fall for the boomer-tier meme that America was the best thing that ever happened in human history. That being said, there is plenty of Catholic history in the Americas that we can look to for foundations and guidance.

I find it funny that the LE6920 is branded as an M4 but the AR6720 isn't, when the only real difference is the pencil barrel.

this is old news but worth reiterating that David has ties with CNN going back to at least 2016
