Nick is trying so hard not to laugh at everything he says
Jacob has 70 viewers and most of them are on Nick's side lol
Matthew 27:25 is the answer to all jewish behavior
I've been going to the TLM exclusively for about two and a half years.
There isn't anything mandating ties as far as I know, although dressing formally is highly preferred
When it comes to formality of dress, including veils for women, you'll see higher standards practiced the more traditional you go, in terms of which 'group' the Mass is associated with
the pictures are great too
The novus ordo was crafted by judeo-masonic liberals in the Church. Stay away if at all possible
Yes, @manes, and the epistle (reading) is also repeated in english
Were/are you Catholic? Have you ever been to a Latin Mass or novus ordo Mass?
Okay just making sure lol
For the TLM really all you have to do is dress nice and show up. There's nothing complicated about it
Most Mass centers have paper missals you can use to follow along in Latin and English
If anyone has questions or is confused by the the different groups and priestly societies that adhere to the Traditional Latin Mass, @ or DM me. If you're new to the TLM then just find a Mass location and don't worry about the complicated details right away.
There are major differences between the conciliar, FSSP and ICKSP, neo-SSPX, SSPX Resistance, and sedevacantist positions on the crisis in the Church, and it's very easy to get ideologically influenced by one particular group before you really know what each one stands for.
Under normal circumstances, serious divisions like this do not exist in the Church. As lay persons of course we are just Catholics and don't formally belong to any sub-group in the same way our priests and bishops may belong to of a priestly fraternal society, but we may informally support a society or loose group association based on their position on the present crisis.
If anyone is interested I may just post a brief as possible summary of each position in this chat.
Go to the church with the Latin Mass, keep going to Mass
explain your situation to the priest
You could also ask a traditional Catholic priest here, and about any other questions you have
Did you go to novus ordo or TLM?
If you don't know it was probably novus ordo
Well no, not really. There are eastern rites like the Byzantine rite but that's largely irrelevant to us, the vast majority of the world uses the Latin or Roman rite.
yeah both of those things a product of the revolution in the Church....
It's been around for about 50 years, it depends on the church though
In short, the 'Traditional Latin Mass' was just *the Mass* that grew organically for millenia. It was at Vatican II in the 1960s that progressives (jews, freemasons, communists) in the Church finally staged their revolution, undermining several doctrines and implementing the (oddly protestant-like) Novus Ordo Missae and ruberics, which among other things has resulted in what can only be described as liturgical anarchy.
very good call
Since JPII took a sledgehammer to the centuries-old canonization protocols including the rigorous devil's advocate process in 1983, canonizations since then do not hold the same weight that they did previously. Liberal popes who welcomed the revolution, and by word and deed regularly contradicted the pre-VII teachings of the Church, and never underwent anywhere near the same level of scrutiny as all the other saints, are probably not saints.
On a side note, traditionalists in the Church are often criticized and ignored for "being so negative" and always counter-signalling news and other things that make people feel good. It's easy to see where the criticism comes from, and it's certainly just as frustrating and painful for us if not moreso being forced to constantly criticize the very men who should be leading us towards Heaven. But we must never stray from the truth no matter how hard it is to say it.
join the priesthood
The holy trinity of Catholic books:
- Douay Rheims Bible
- Catechism of the Council of Trent
- 1962 Roman Catholic Daily Missal
It's sad how even in the dissident right, actually practicing your faith by doing things like praying is still seen as taboo or "uncool".
I never eat full meals anyway lel
Trad churches have confession before and during Mass
This entire wall of text falls apart under the slightest scrutiny
The original spoken language of Matthew 16:13 was Aramaic, not Greek. There was no masculine or feminine, just *Kepha.*
And in the Greek translation, *Petros* and *Petra* had the same meaning. They just used *Petros* for Peter's name because *Petra* was the common word at the time but would have been improper for Peter's name.
The Law of the Seal of Confession
California ran two democrat senators and no republicans in 2016, that probably effected republican turnout
Notice how they're trying to "canonize" every single liberal (post-1958) pope as quickly as possible.
Since the process for canonizing saints was dismantled in 1983, recent 'canonizations' are meaningless, thanfully.
well it would make sense why he was in california
the yearbook looks real though, if only we can get a confirmation on what yearbook it actually is
THIS, this is what I kept thinking about after the Cruz shooting, I vaguely remembered it but just came across it on twitter again
This shit was reported by CBS, not even a conspiracy theory
"The #NeverAgain caravan Bus One"
this must be the guy that got fired
Reminder: If you're into Catholic devotions, stay away from divine mercy and focus on the Sacred Heart instead. It's a fraud devotion that emphasizes false 'mercy' and salvation without true repentance via the sacrament of confession.
Joe what do you think of the M4
ear pieces are pretty normal I think
not that the rest of it isn't very fishy though
why not refridgerate it
This thread is insane, Sheriff Israel is basically a democrat political operative running a criminal enterprise
Democrat/Jewish, same thing
Same here, I read it yesterday but last night it wouldn't show
I posted it here last night
holy shit even on pc it won't show the thread wtf
First of all, I will say that the human element of the Catholic Church is without a doubt currently at its lowest, weakest point in the last two millenia since the time of Christ. Anybody who converts to the True Faith at this point in time, given the unprecedented circumstances, is already practically a saint. This crisis is not without precedent or forwarning, St. Athanasius is a great example of a man who heroically fought the Church establishment during the time of the Arian heresy and guilded a faithful remnant through the dark time. In addition, many saints and visionaries warned that such an event would occur, for example St. Francis of Assisi:
*1. "The time is fast approaching in which there will be great trials and afflictions; perplexities and dissensions, both spiritual and temporal, will abound; the charity of many will grow cold, and the malice of the wicked will increase.
2. The devils will have unusual power, the immaculate purity of our Order, and of others, will be so much obscured that there will be very few Christians who will obey the true Sovereign Pontiff and the Roman Church with loyal hearts and perfect charity. At the time of this tribulation a man, not canonically elected, will be raised to the Pontificate, who, by his cunning, will endeavor to draw many into error and death.
3. Then scandals will be multiplied, our Order will be divided, and many others will be entirely destroyed, because they will consent to error instead of opposing it.
4. There will be such diversity of opinions and schisms among the people, the religious and the clergy, that, except those days were shortened, according to the words of the Gospel, even the elect would be led into error, were they not specially guided, amid such great confusion, by the immense mercy of God.*
*5. Then our Rule and manner of life will be violently opposed by some, and terrible trials will come upon us. Those who are found faithful will receive the crown of life; but woe to those who, trusting solely in their Order, shall fall into tepidity, for they will not be able to support the temptations permitted for the proving of the elect.
6. Those who preserve in their fervor and adhere to virtue with love and zeal for the truth, will suffer injuries and, persecutions as rebels and schismatics; for their persecutors, urged on by the evil spirits, will say they are rendering a great service to God by destroying such pestilent men from the face of the earth. but the Lord will be the refuge of the afflicted, and will save all who trust in Him. And in order to be like their Head, [Christ] these, the elect, will act with confidence, and by their death will purchase for themselves eternal life; choosing to obey God rather than man, they will fear nothing, and they will prefer to perish rather than consent to falsehood and perfidy.
7. Some preachers will keep silence about the truth, and others will trample it under foot and deny it. Sanctity of life will be held in derision even by those who outwardly profess it, for in those days Jesus Christ will send them not a true pastor, but a destroyer."*
As for the Church vs. American heritage, one was founded by Christ Himself while the other was founded on liberal enlightenment values. Culturally and spiritually, Christendom peaked long before America came along. While we should love our country and make it the best we can, we should not fall for the boomer-tier meme that America was the best thing that ever happened in human history. That being said, there is plenty of Catholic history in the Americas that we can look to for foundations and guidance.
I find it funny that the LE6920 is branded as an M4 but the AR6720 isn't, when the only real difference is the pencil barrel.
this is old news but worth reiterating that David has ties with CNN going back to at least 2016
@IAmHiding holy shit I just found most of this
There's more in memetics too.

What came first, the Church or America?
And which takes primacy, God or ideology?
I've been thinking about this very issue a lot lately, it's a complicated question that will be difficult to solve, further complicated by the fact that the 'overton window' is so far to the left right now. Until then, we could start by considering that America should be loved more as a people and land, and less as a creed, idea or ideology.
One source we can gain some insight is Pope Leo XIII's encyclical *Testem benevolentiae nostrae*, which addresses this topic to an extent.
A nation is generally defined as a group of people with common ancestry, faith and culture. It wasn't until the 'enlightenment' era that ideology began to play a role in the framework of governance of some nations, until that point the only fundamental idea that persisted was Christendom, rooted in Natural Law.
The world has been straying from God since long before America was founded... when the people, including the American *people*, come back to God, these liberal ideas will naturally seem much less important than they do now.
I'm pretty sure the American people is what constitutes America, not treating the True Faith exactly the same as false religions and allowing degerates to spew their filth in public.
On a side note, I find it highly ironic how many people (not directed at you, just in general) act shocked by the doctrine of papal infallibility yet treat the founders as saints and the constitution as an infallible dogma.
Remove unnecessary and dead channels like food recipes and fashion
@Thomas Several thoughts come to mind here -
- This mindset brings to mind a heresy condemned by the Church that places tradition over reason as the as the primary arbiter of truth (not to say that tradition isn't highly valuable).
- Do you believe in religious liberty, free speech and separation of church and state in principal, or only because they play a role in American values?
- If/when America becomes Catholic, it would be far from the first non-Catholic nation or civilization to do so. Did Christianity not conflict somewhat with Roman values? Were the early Christians trying to eradicate what it means to be Roman?
So you are saying you believe in these liberal ideas not because you believe they are true, but because they are American?
Churchmilitant.tv falsely attacks traditional Catholics for being in "schism" but has an official policy of refusing to criticize the leftist pope. They are a joke.
They're not in schism, neo-caths are just retarded and don't understand how canonical law works.
@Thomas I think the heart of the matter here regarding your disagreement with the Church is that you are broadening natural differing traditions and customs between nations to include what the Church considers objective, universal moral principles. For example, because God commands that all the nations worship Him, states equating Christ to false religions is universally wrong, no matter where it is.
If you love Christ, Christendom and Christianity you'll love Catholicism
not to mention traditionalism

The sad thing is, we all know this shit happens on a massive scale but it's just so much evil that it's impossible to emotionally comprehend it all until you see it up-close and personal
@Polybius From a purely moral perspective, giving up something for lent is voluntary, as in you do not sin if you break it. The dispensation has nothing to do with what you are abstaining from, it's your choice if you want to break it or not.
@sbbu The general rule of thumb for reading someone like Evola is “take what you like and throw out the rest”
@Polybius Good choice, even if it’s not a moral issue it’s still good for our souls to make sacrifices and stick to them as best we can.

GO TO LATIN MASS
@NickTheGreek is greco not me
Well your primary concern should be how orthodox the services are. Preferably you should try to find a TLM in your area, which can be searched for here: http://www.traditio.com/tradlib/masslat.pdf (just ignore the recommended vs not recommended indicators if you are not highly familiar with the differences between the various traditional groups).
If there is no TLM nearby then try to find a Mass with the most traditional liturgy.
Do an examination of conscience, also don't be afraid to ask the priest for guidance
The Douay-Rheims is the ideal, but yes this is the best edition if you want a more modern translation that is easier to read
this is ultimately how the infiltrators were able to pull off Vatican II
A side benefit of the Latin Mass is that they're often filled with young people and families, especially if it's a parish that offers the TLM exclusively
Holy Ghost for sure
Get a good 1962 Missal, Angelus Press has a fantastic one if you can afford it
Eastern schismatics don't believe in the supreme authority of the See of Rome, which presides over the whole world
Peter was in Rome when he died and his successors stayed in Rome. It's easy to understand why he was in Rome to spread Christianity considering its political and geographic significance
Because in Matthew 16:18 Christ explicitly establishes Peter as the head of the Church, which is why the apostolic sees have bishopric authority under the see of Peter.
