๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ญ

2018-07-25 21:16:09 UTC

i feel like most of these antifa people are complete text book sociopaths

2018-07-25 21:16:47 UTC

many probably have a real mental illness and they cultishly brainwash young impressionable people

2018-07-25 21:18:27 UTC

they're not, they're children, braniwashed children

2018-07-25 21:18:35 UTC

who want to be heroes

2018-07-25 21:18:39 UTC

and "change the world"

2018-07-25 21:28:14 UTC

Imo few more incidents like this and donald trump is certain for 2 term

2018-07-25 21:28:33 UTC

Also there will come time when police will descend on these ppl

2018-07-25 21:29:04 UTC

Those innocent people getting attacked in Oakland by protesters is highly concerning. Its like Trump Supporters canโ€™t meet up anywhere without worrying about a literal mob showing up to attack us. Iโ€™ve been putting off getting a conceal and carry, but Iโ€™m obviously going to need one if I plan to support Trumps 2020 run in public.

2018-07-25 21:29:45 UTC

Also i wonder if proud boys could sue shaun king for slander

2018-07-25 21:30:27 UTC

If they can, then they should.

2018-07-25 21:31:21 UTC

Heโ€™s supposed to be a journalist, but Itโ€™s Going Down did a better job. Thatโ€™s pretty pathetic.

2018-07-25 21:31:28 UTC

Depends if they have some sort of membership

2018-07-25 21:31:41 UTC

he's just doing it for attention

2018-07-25 21:31:44 UTC

he knows better

2018-07-25 21:31:48 UTC

@Deleted User If a gun is a deterrent, wouldn't it work better if people knew you had it? I seriously never understood concealed carry.

2018-07-25 21:32:07 UTC

Not American, btw

2018-07-25 21:32:25 UTC

You canโ€™t open carry in my state, or I would @Kriiakulos.1644 . I agree with you.

2018-07-25 21:32:36 UTC

Part of the idea of concealed carry is that no one knows exactly who is armed.

2018-07-25 21:32:50 UTC

@Kriiakulos.1644 If you're open carrying, people know you're armed. There is a possibility that makes you more of a target than the people around you in some kind of situation.

2018-07-25 21:33:06 UTC

Concealed carry means you walk softly and carry a big stick, on the other hand.

2018-07-25 21:33:09 UTC

Think of it like vaccination. If you think that 10% of people in a room might be armed but you don't know which, it's more dangerous to charge in and start doing violence.

2018-07-25 21:33:32 UTC

Nobody knows if you or the people around you could return their fire with your own, so it's actually more of a deterrent.

2018-07-25 21:33:33 UTC

So the 10% protect the 90 by extension.

2018-07-25 21:33:52 UTC

It's also less scary to random bystanders.

2018-07-25 21:34:32 UTC

Well i think lot will depends on this midterms

2018-07-25 21:34:33 UTC

Antifa isnโ€™t nearly as bad here. Probably because of that. Theyโ€™re in the cites, but Iโ€™ve seen little violence from them. Could be because weโ€™re all armed.

2018-07-25 21:34:38 UTC

Concealed carry also implies drawing it when threatened (but only when threatened)

2018-07-25 21:34:46 UTC

I wonder which result would be better

2018-07-25 21:35:09 UTC

If republicans win big time that could make them more desperate and aggressive

2018-07-25 21:35:22 UTC

@Deleted User Where are you? It's probably a more factor of local strength and the likelihood they'd get away with it.

2018-07-25 21:35:26 UTC

If dems win big time that could encourage them

2018-07-25 21:35:33 UTC

A number of ANTIFA have been getting away with beating people.

2018-07-25 21:35:44 UTC

So maybe if its a draw would be best huh ?

2018-07-25 21:35:49 UTC

Iโ€™d rather not say. @pratel nothing personal

2018-07-25 21:35:54 UTC

Like, there've been all of 6 people who got any kind of punishment over the Inauguration protests.

2018-07-25 21:36:06 UTC

And the vast majority just got released.

2018-07-25 21:36:19 UTC

California has been remarkably lax on punishing them.

2018-07-25 21:36:47 UTC

That's 'cause California believes they're on "the right side of history".

2018-07-25 21:36:51 UTC

There was a case where the defense attorney was more or less a member of antifa and all but threatened the jury.

Unanimous acquittal.

2018-07-25 21:37:33 UTC

I saw an Antifa push a woman here. A proud Boy punched him out in response. Canโ€™t say I disapprove. But thatโ€™s all Iโ€™ve seen across multiple protests . As far as numbers, the local militia that show up outnumber Antifa 10/1

2018-07-25 21:37:58 UTC

That's probably the deciding factor then.

2018-07-25 21:38:08 UTC

People will usually act out as much as they believe they can get away with. Barring those who are entirely ideologically possessed. If the law was applied justly you'd probably see a lot less violence from people looking for trouble. Like 90s NY where crime took a nose dive from Police just fining people for petty crimes and being seen as active.

2018-07-25 21:38:12 UTC

Antifa isn't dumb enough to get into fights they know they'll lose.

2018-07-25 21:38:52 UTC

i think slander is only justifyable in business

2018-07-25 21:39:03 UTC

But they'll extract anything they can when they are sufficiently strong.

2018-07-25 21:39:31 UTC

nah take the moral high ground called "Ignore"

2018-07-25 21:40:00 UTC

I don't know if they would if they believed they'd suffer consequences. Like proper arrests.

2018-07-25 21:40:34 UTC

The multiple stand down orders that officers appear to receive are what is real fishy for me.

2018-07-25 21:53:08 UTC

So the diversity director or whatever her title is sent a email to our firm from Dr. Arin Reeves about Implicit Bias vs Explicit Choice in it it lists the examples of the white people calling the cops on the black peple ....

2018-07-25 21:53:34 UTC

In case anyone is interested :

2018-07-25 21:55:49 UTC

Tim has covered some of the stories listed in the email ^

2018-07-25 21:56:23 UTC

How would she even know that stuff? @Rabbi Shekels

2018-07-25 21:56:47 UTC

what do you mean ?

2018-07-25 21:56:57 UTC
2018-07-25 21:57:48 UTC

Well none of these are crimes , so why would the police even respond? @Rabbi Shekels are these from news stories or something?

2018-07-25 21:58:48 UTC

well yeah the woman who called the cops on the california cookout , the white guy who called the popo on the black women who was in the community pool

2018-07-25 21:58:55 UTC

i agree none of them are crimes

2018-07-25 22:12:04 UTC

i'd call cops on black people too ๐Ÿ˜›

2018-07-25 22:12:15 UTC

I don't recall police ever getting involved with the pool situation

2018-07-25 22:13:15 UTC

nvm

2018-07-25 22:13:17 UTC

i thought they did ? tim did cover it in one of his vids

2018-07-25 22:13:23 UTC

was thinking of a different story

2018-07-25 22:13:48 UTC

what im trying to say is that these issues aren't like a big deal but they are trying to say it's like a big deal and systemic etc

2018-07-25 22:17:28 UTC

cuz they have to

2018-07-25 22:17:31 UTC

they even fake reports

2018-07-25 22:17:39 UTC

cuz theres not enough ACTUAL racism going on

2018-07-25 22:21:46 UTC

she wont have a job if there is no "racism"

2018-07-25 22:37:00 UTC

Y'all heard about the stake to the heart Facebook just took. Their shares are down 25% and that's only in after market trading where there is usually little volatility. The reason seems to be because main Facebook users are down in net growth (still increasing just lessening in overall growth for the first-time in a quarter.) Now is the opportune time for Minds to IPO, as they might be the finishing blow to the Facebook monolith.

2018-07-25 22:37:54 UTC

really?

2018-07-25 22:38:20 UTC

i thought they recovered in stocks and now looking into getting into the internet 3.0 which is all blockchain

2018-07-25 22:38:31 UTC

i really hope facebook tanks badly

2018-07-25 22:38:48 UTC

@scaryred24 look for yourself

2018-07-25 22:39:04 UTC

just because they are slowing down in growth doesnt mean they are doing bad though

2018-07-25 22:39:20 UTC

it could just mean that they already have all the users in the world

2018-07-25 22:39:36 UTC

i mean nintendo is at their all time low right now and they are still doing great

2018-07-25 22:39:47 UTC

also i believe facebook was outing vietnam users and turning them in to the po po

2018-07-25 22:40:00 UTC

lots of vietnam users went to minds

2018-07-25 22:41:25 UTC

I know, its a little weird, seeing as though their EPS increased by 3 cents, but I guess people are just getting fed up with facebook. In reality the earnings report that they put out was pretty good looking.

2018-07-25 22:41:48 UTC

I heard FB was up after the Cambridge Analytica scandal.

2018-07-25 22:41:53 UTC

Is this just a correction?

2018-07-25 22:41:59 UTC

prob ^

2018-07-25 22:42:22 UTC

It's almost certainly going to be spun as a reaction to Zuckerberg defending Holocaust Deniers unfortuntaely.

2018-07-25 22:42:34 UTC

The media *really* wants Facebook to play censo.

2018-07-25 22:43:13 UTC

It was a reaction to their Earnings report, which as I said was odd seeing as though theyre earnings report was pretty confident looking.

2018-07-25 22:44:12 UTC

I'm filing this under some kind of correction for now. But there's been some janking with the markets and the press has it's knives out for Facebook, so I'm unsure what's going on.

2018-07-25 22:51:44 UTC

So did CNN play the cohen tape yet?

2018-07-25 22:51:48 UTC

whats on it?

2018-07-25 23:01:36 UTC

Watched Timโ€™s video about more Trump support being offline. Hereโ€™s my take. The meme war win for Trump was a real thing, but it wasnโ€™t about getting votes, as much as it was about breaking the moral of the left, and making sure they stayed home. We made damn sure that everyone felt awful about Hillary. Every time Hillary supporters tried to rally online, we humiliated them. Crushed their spirits.

The reason Slate is covering this angle is just a simple attack on Fox. It is a break from the muh Russia stuff, but itโ€™s hard to organize an adviser boycott against fox if people think theyโ€™re irrelevant. Which isnโ€™t the case with older voters. So expect occasional articles like this .

2018-07-25 23:03:29 UTC

@Deleted User Good take

2018-07-25 23:05:24 UTC
2018-07-25 23:06:23 UTC

Ah wait, I hadn't realized a new vid ws out.

2018-07-25 23:06:31 UTC

Sorry for posting redundant information.

2018-07-25 23:06:33 UTC

Thatโ€™s the Brown study Tim was talking about @pratel

2018-07-25 23:06:48 UTC

Yeah, I just noted a new vid was out after I posted that.

2018-07-25 23:06:53 UTC

Sorry for being dumb.

2018-07-25 23:07:23 UTC

Itโ€™s all good. Check the video out. The study is interesting.

2018-07-25 23:09:35 UTC

But my theory fits into that research.
Trump didnโ€™t win because he got a record number of people to vote for him. He had a normal amount.

Trump won because of who DID NOT vote. That was Democrats.

2018-07-25 23:09:38 UTC

Yeah, I ran into it a couple days ago. Reddit was trying to suppress it.
