I doubt your far right would be listening to his guest Hotep Jesus and agreeing with every word or a lesbian complaining about how the far left had marginalized and trolled her channel for not being radical left enough.

Dude was at Occupy Wallstreet, voted Obama, didn't vote (I believe in 2016), laughed when Trump won but then came to realize that Trump was up against Wallstreet as well. The bank bailouts created a movement that only just materialized in a Trump but the core principles of the movement will live on.

2020-12-04 23:22:44 UTC

Again analysis that is slanted and unequal doesnโ€™t require a contradictory belief. Iโ€™m not out here claiming David duke is a grifter @Maw

2020-12-04 23:22:59 UTC

My biggest worry if Biden is eventually made president-elect (Jan 6) and President Jan 20th is that he and his projected cabinet, are very anti-2A. And so are the Dems that are in control of the house, and there are a couple of waffling Republicans in the Senate...

On top of it, there are so many irregularities with this election, that if we don't get to the bottom of its never going to get investigated and they will continue to get worse as we get farther beyond the election.

2020-12-04 23:23:17 UTC

@james j You're describing partisanship, not grifting, my dude.

2020-12-04 23:23:23 UTC

@Doc yes like when you watch someone lay down certain principles only to break them when itโ€™s in conflict with self interest

2020-12-04 23:23:38 UTC

@james j how very human.

2020-12-04 23:23:46 UTC

@Maw yes while claiming to not be , again for the millionth time

2020-12-04 23:23:50 UTC

The idea is being a grifter requires inherently being bad-faith.

2020-12-04 23:24:07 UTC

You've yet to explain how Tim Pool is acting in bad-faith.

2020-12-04 23:24:07 UTC

@inwa the far right does not like Tim pool

2020-12-04 23:24:07 UTC

I honestly don't think you have anything to worry about... I have seen more libs change their stance on guns this year than I could have imagined.

2020-12-04 23:24:29 UTC

His target demographic should be near death.

2020-12-04 23:24:47 UTC

Yeah, the people not those elected to office

2020-12-04 23:25:32 UTC

@Maw unequal analysis of the political landscape

2020-12-04 23:25:32 UTC

@james j, you just advanced to level 28!

2020-12-04 23:25:46 UTC

@james j James, this is being a partisan.

2020-12-04 23:25:53 UTC

While claiming not to be

2020-12-04 23:26:02 UTC

Which he could very well believe.

2020-12-04 23:26:02 UTC

Again

2020-12-04 23:26:55 UTC

His behavior should not be predictable if he truly believes what he claims

2020-12-04 23:27:05 UTC

???

2020-12-04 23:27:47 UTC

Did you just make the argument -- unintentionally -- that religions aren't predictable?

2020-12-04 23:27:51 UTC

Limited understanding is healthy. Average people most likely would have difficulty coping with raw truth.

2020-12-04 23:28:13 UTC

For a long time, gun owners have said that everyone having guns would reduce violence. Libs rejected that idea. Then the fear of what would happen if food supplies were compromised during the pandemic set in and they saw the light... And then... they figured out that shooting is really fun. Soon, all tags will be lotteries and you'll be wishing libs went back to hating guns. ๐Ÿ˜„

2020-12-04 23:28:23 UTC

Like for example would he ever being up a purely left wing article legitimately attacking the right and then title his videos accordingly. @Maw and then talk about it for like 3 hours

2020-12-04 23:28:55 UTC

No he would never do anything to Rock the boat of his base. Especially before Trump lost

2020-12-04 23:29:25 UTC

@james j I'm going to use an analogy that sort of was just brought up by Doc. Just because you believe you're incredibly intelligent, doesn't mean you are.

2020-12-04 23:29:28 UTC

Regardless of his motivations, it sounds like good business to me.

2020-12-04 23:29:30 UTC

Truth or constructed realities?

2020-12-04 23:29:47 UTC

@inwa I fail to understand the difference.

2020-12-04 23:30:08 UTC

@Doc I saw that coming...

2020-12-04 23:30:22 UTC

Also religious people at some point realize they are being hypocritical. They just capitulate to social pressure for ease of life. Half your prosperity gospel preachers are out there scamming their congregation @Maw

2020-12-04 23:30:26 UTC

@TaLoN132 have I become predictable? ๐Ÿ˜„

2020-12-04 23:30:28 UTC

With superchats Q. Lol

2020-12-04 23:30:40 UTC

@TaLoN132 itโ€™s the best business with the most loyal following

2020-12-04 23:30:51 UTC

I'm pretty sure a lot of folks never have this "awakening" you claim.

2020-12-04 23:30:53 UTC

Never... I just was picking up what you were putting down.

2020-12-04 23:31:18 UTC

@Maw a lot have and they shove it down

2020-12-04 23:31:57 UTC

@Maw you want to address the inconsistencies I pointed out with Tim pool

2020-12-04 23:32:00 UTC

@TaLoN132 Just a model of the human mind. Your truths are your association of data you have been exposed to. A model of the world. Always very different from the world as is.

2020-12-04 23:32:15 UTC

@james j I literally have, "it's not my fault if you don't understand"

2020-12-04 23:32:20 UTC

I believe you said.

2020-12-04 23:33:19 UTC

That is not true. It is the communicators responsibility to be understood and the comunicee(?) responsible for understanding, according to Wittgenstein.

2020-12-04 23:33:29 UTC

@Doc You are correct.

2020-12-04 23:33:53 UTC

No you havenโ€™t , you just appeal to partisan ship and saying itโ€™s perfectly fine if you believe you arenโ€™t being partisan. Under your logic grifters donโ€™t exist until they say I donโ€™t believe what I am saying @Maw even prosperity gospel person is not a grifter. They just believe what they are saying.

2020-12-04 23:34:12 UTC

@james j Under your logic literally every news outlet is grifting.

2020-12-04 23:34:22 UTC

My way of defining grifting is more useful in my opinion.

2020-12-04 23:35:03 UTC

Here I find myself not having the slightest idea what "grifting actually means.

2020-12-04 23:35:06 UTC

Under your definition you canโ€™t claim cnn and msnbc is left leaning and Fox News is right leaning. You just accept that they are fair and balanced @Maw

2020-12-04 23:35:14 UTC

@Doc A swindler/con-man, in short.

2020-12-04 23:35:20 UTC

Because they believe it

2020-12-04 23:35:25 UTC

@Maw So anyone selling anything.

2020-12-04 23:35:36 UTC

That doesn't believe in the product, sure.

2020-12-04 23:35:43 UTC

Maybe, while I have hunted, and learned how, hunting is not my primary reason for owning firearms. Warren v. DC... While every officer I know would gladly do whatever they need to, to protect people they have no actual duty to protect individual citizens, just the community as a whole. So as the adage goes When seconds count police are minutes away.

and with the bATFe loving to redefine established definitions to suit themselves because there is ambiguity in the actual statutes (re: Bump Stock Ban) (on going issues with pistol braces) creates issues. The bump stock ban gives them a precedent to use as a justification to change how they define firearms and accessories despite the fact that I think they were stupid doesn't mean that banning them after years of issuing letters of compliance was acceptable.

2020-12-04 23:35:43 UTC

@AntiFish03, you just advanced to level 6!

2020-12-04 23:36:01 UTC

@Maw Anyone can believe in any product. Humans are good at selection bias.

2020-12-04 23:36:26 UTC

Whatever Iโ€™m gonna maintain you guys are blind and will just believe whatever resonates with you.

2020-12-04 23:36:34 UTC

@Doc There are also people that inherently know the product is garbage and try to sell it to you anyway by lying about its usefulness.

2020-12-04 23:36:42 UTC

This is a person we'd call a con-man.

2020-12-04 23:36:47 UTC

I see.

2020-12-04 23:36:50 UTC

They're being dishonest.

2020-12-04 23:38:07 UTC

You always make me think... I appreciate that. It seems that we are the intersection of our experiences and our perception, maybe? I'm guessing that as our memories evolve over time, it has an impact on our perception of our experiences? I'm getting dizzy.

2020-12-04 23:38:10 UTC

Trump said he is a Christian and his favorite book is the Bible. He even talks to Christians. He must a Christian and We canโ€™t question the sincerity of his beliefs because after all he could believe he is

2020-12-04 23:38:44 UTC

No, we presume he's probably a Christian unless something comes up that would suggest otherwise.

2020-12-04 23:38:53 UTC

I lump them more together.
"See you the ship of barther, you shall fight him or flee.
He is not worthy your tax, a slave of profit, you the king of the sea,
and your steel superior to his gold."
@Maw

2020-12-04 23:38:54 UTC

Jesus

2020-12-04 23:38:56 UTC

Ok maw

2020-12-04 23:39:22 UTC

@james j Occam's razor.

2020-12-04 23:39:27 UTC

Yeah

2020-12-04 23:39:32 UTC

@Maw I presume he has trouble with abstractions.

2020-12-04 23:39:51 UTC

There are many issues that are boiling over setting stage at the moment. I also am not comfortable watching the Michigan governor go over the top with Covid becoming more of a public spectacle which usually hints at something deeper. The last thing we need is limited state governance but crisis actors or agreed upon agenda to manipulate the population is usually difficult to detect. This year, however it is out of control and usually obvious.

2020-12-04 23:39:53 UTC

We call this 'the benefit of the doubt'.

2020-12-04 23:40:03 UTC

Now if he ruined someone's trust?

2020-12-04 23:40:10 UTC

For sure, you probably won't believe him.

2020-12-04 23:40:46 UTC

But he could believe he wasnโ€™t breaking any ones trust

2020-12-04 23:40:50 UTC

But arguably the statement is so innocuous as to not really suggest you shouldn't just take them at their word.

2020-12-04 23:41:00 UTC

@james j Yeah, for sure.

2020-12-04 23:42:09 UTC

Then how is he grifting off the right as a pandering platform of center right ideals?

2020-12-04 23:42:17 UTC

@AntiFish03 Cool name. Are you a SEAL?

2020-12-04 23:43:04 UTC

Do you think habitual liars think they're bad people?

2020-12-04 23:43:30 UTC

Center right is a large group @inwa he panders to them on a obvious slant. While claiming he is a leftist. However will never challenge the very right wing articles he reads

2020-12-04 23:44:06 UTC

@Maw If you speak of Pseudologia fantastica they sometimes do.

2020-12-04 23:44:21 UTC

@Maw seconds at the time, before their defenses are back up.

2020-12-04 23:44:39 UTC

The idea is basically anyone can justify doing anything most likely.

2020-12-04 23:44:50 UTC

Nah, It started as AnthonyFish (when I created it as a freshman in high school) became AntiFish (Anti-Noob) later... Just a little joke from the guys I was destroying in counter strike, tribes, halo, quake etc. that I was crushing at the time

2020-12-04 23:45:20 UTC

It was a joke, but Thanks! Nice to see you, fish.

2020-12-04 23:46:01 UTC

With the wide swings of questions, comments, and everything else in this chat there is no telling...

2020-12-04 23:46:02 UTC

@Doc Reality flips like that are... horrifying to think about though.

2020-12-04 23:46:24 UTC

@Maw yes. it is very painful for them.

2020-12-04 23:46:43 UTC

you eliviate this pain in therapy by explaining how they are on the right track.

2020-12-04 23:46:47 UTC

and that is painful

2020-12-04 23:46:57 UTC

@maw can you ask Robert if he can cover the letter that the PA state legislative have sent to Congress asking them to reject the states EC VOTES

2020-12-04 23:47:10 UTC

@AntiFish03 Nothing I say is serious, nor a joke.

2020-12-04 23:47:54 UTC

@Scott McHarris You can try! You'll have as much luck as if I do it most likely. I don't think they give me preferential treatment!

2020-12-04 23:48:03 UTC

There is truth and then there are constructed realities surrounding said truth

2020-12-04 23:48:53 UTC

Even if it wasn't I don't see a harm in being honest and genuine with people about it... its way easier than coming up with weird or unusual stories about how I got it somewhere for something... maybe a tad boring though

2020-12-04 23:50:32 UTC

@inwa Truth used to be that humans were 6000 years old. This is what @Doc is sort of referring to.

2020-12-04 23:51:03 UTC

@inwa That is not how the brain works.

2020-12-04 23:51:20 UTC

Unless you place the truth outside the brain.

2020-12-04 23:51:23 UTC

Then I agree
