I watch the whole video and they take his speech, chop it up... then spin it in a way that look hateful.
Say what you will about the tenets of national socialism, at least it's an ethos.
Now we got a whole ton of far left screaming for his head, while he is trying to say we must come together. There is too much hate.
and they are both authoritarian bullcrap that gets people killed.
If you want to look at the people who is advocating hate... look at the media.
What is the core difference between socialism and fascism? Almost everything people name on the fascist side also occurred on the socialist one
the main difference is who they think it should apply to really
They are recklessly working towards more views, more clicks, more ratings.
National socialism was the state above all. The state could use whatever economic means it wanted to run the country or maintain power. It was all about power. Economics were secondary.
They don't care about what they have to do, they want that clicks and ratings.
My understanding is they are highly similar, but change where they draw divides between groups.
i agree
Socialism is class vs class, fascism is nation vs nation.
Communism was all about communal ownership of capital. The core was economic and politics and the state were secondary. In fact the state was to become irrelevant.
Your economy is a measure of power ultimately
@Grenade123 actually i think national socialism is branded on the right, cuz they have a system of high state + a heirarchy of People -> Leaders -> Fuhrer
And both a large state + heirarchy are right-wing traits on the 1D spectrum
socialism and fascism are only seperated by one thing
The goal of a socialist state is to consolidate economic power, potentially for the purpose of bringing about a communist state
Socialism is about class, and Fascism is about race and class
How so, codes?
actually, depends. IT was really hitler that cared about race
There were also racial/ethnic elements in socialist States though
Italian fascism was not about race as much
then why does the current wave of socialists care so much about segregation?
Where fascism and communism match is that the individual is irrelevant. the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the one.
I was unaware of an intrinsic class divide in fascist theory.
there isn't
Becuase the current wave are fascists not soclialists
True fascism is just having an "over-state" that can swoop in during times of crisis, and override any and all authority
Classical liberalism, of which I am a proponent, believes that only by freeing the individual will society prosper
i agree
They also match in terms of a focus on economic control, and are ultimately necessarily imperialist as a result
Because a command economy in isolation is going to get fucked
Both fascism and communism subsume the individual
Both also performed mass murder on the basis of ethnic background
the goal of fascists is to have a self-sustaining economy, so you can isolate yourself if needed
Liberalism frees the individual
why
