men have been shit on for thousands of years

2019-01-03 18:05:49 UTC

yes you can

2019-01-03 18:05:56 UTC

in the 1800s, men were convicted for crimes of their wives

2019-01-03 18:06:14 UTC

and you didnt have the choice not to marry, either

2019-01-03 18:06:21 UTC

you're cherry picking, but you can also objectively define it

2019-01-03 18:06:29 UTC

youd have to pay bachelor taxes and at times were excluded from many jobs

2019-01-03 18:08:25 UTC

@GoldenPhoenix and does he even oppose feminism? The first wave or the terrorists from the suffragettes?

2019-01-03 18:10:26 UTC

does he use the typical wartime rethoric against men from other places such as arabs?

2019-01-03 18:10:39 UTC

He supports equality feminism, which long ago reached its goals in the west, and fights against the modern branch that seeks to *reverse* perceived (whether true or not) historical oppression instead of balancing it out

2019-01-03 18:11:03 UTC

feminism never strived for equality

2019-01-03 18:11:29 UTC

I guess I'm referring to people like Christina Hoff Sommers

2019-01-03 18:11:30 UTC

nor has any form of feminism ever intentionaly brought anything closer to equality.

2019-01-03 18:11:35 UTC

Feminism is an advocacy movement, plane and simple

2019-01-03 18:12:10 UTC

Well, there never was a time at which men could and women couldnt vote to begin with, thats the first lie

2019-01-03 18:12:31 UTC

neither in the US nor in the UK. Unless you count feudalism back when only knights had any vote at all

2019-01-03 18:12:50 UTC

That gathering is a possibility, so it's still good to stay informed and wary

2019-01-03 18:14:04 UTC

In the UK, it was the same requirements for a woman to vote as for a man and in the US it was not federally regulated - though american men still cant vote

2019-01-03 18:14:32 UTC

Not unconditionaly and all across the US which is the only thing they could argue women couldnt.

2019-01-03 18:14:35 UTC

Today being an equalitarian means that you are an ALT-RIGHT hate filled everything-phobic NAZI!

2019-01-03 18:14:42 UTC

I am big enough to jump on top of someone and pummell them with my fists

2019-01-03 18:15:29 UTC

you just made tim wet with rumors of antifa violence @acarson

2019-01-03 18:16:28 UTC

Just like the kid from A Christmas Story did to one of the bullies

2019-01-03 18:16:43 UTC

tirade against feminism aside, which I'd like to see sources for before making any opinion on, saying that shapiro is going to further any power shift towards women is speculative at best, and highly unlikely

2019-01-03 18:17:40 UTC

unless you consider support of marriage and equal liability under the law to be woman-empowering

2019-01-03 18:17:50 UTC

Support of marriage most definatly is

2019-01-03 18:17:52 UTC

Also

2019-01-03 18:17:53 UTC

Oh wow Pewdiepie covering Jake Paul and Ricegum's scam site

2019-01-03 18:18:34 UTC

unwilling fathers currently are forced by the state to slave away for deadbeat mothers when this is exclusivly her choice to begin with

2019-01-03 18:19:08 UTC

you say that as if mothers can spontaneously generate children on their own

2019-01-03 18:19:34 UTC

He can use condoms, yeah, they are about as reliable as pulling out (citations for that and the other stuff comming right up), she can use the pill, far more reliable, then she can abort, then she can give it up for adoption or as ave haven. There is no single mother other than through her choice.

2019-01-03 18:20:10 UTC

perhaps, but there is also not an unwilling father except through his choices

2019-01-03 18:20:33 UTC

He makes a fair point. If a woman is allowed to have an abortion without the consent of the father, that is admission that the child is her responsibility, not his.

2019-01-03 18:20:55 UTC

that logic I could follow, but I think abortion is bad anyway

2019-01-03 18:21:27 UTC

well no he doesnt neccessarily consent to being a father nor can he ever give that up, she can.

2019-01-03 18:21:40 UTC

he could not have sex

2019-01-03 18:21:58 UTC

Only if he isnt raped. But consent to sex is not consent to parenthood

2019-01-03 18:22:19 UTC

yes it is, you're consenting to doing the act that creates life, and if you're not willing to accept that risk, don't do it

2019-01-03 18:22:26 UTC

in no othersituation do we hold anyone accountable for something other than direct consequences. For example

2019-01-03 18:22:48 UTC

if i am tasked to transport equipment and break it, i can be made to pay that damage, not any lost revenue resulting from it

2019-01-03 18:22:58 UTC

so at most you could demand a father pay half an abortion, really

2019-01-03 18:23:41 UTC

you have to keep in mind I'm against abortion in the first place because that's destruction of a human life, so that colors my opinion
