Honestly, I agree with you. I think it would be nice to be able to focus on how people are affected on smaller, more individual/cultural levels, however we have to consider how often good ideas get misused.

Look at it from the intersection outward and it looks a lot like they are arbitrarily declaring a bunch of groups to be oppressors by engaging the usual tribal thinking.

I've noticed that /r/rage and /r/unpopularopinion are a lot more welcoming of rejecting feminism and so on than most subs
