As for stance you can probably learn that at your gym I do college boxing and nobody was expected to know stance at the beginning

i mean i think the fundamentals of any MMA stance is keep one foot in the front of the other, dont stand completely straight, keep your hands up and keep the same side hand as your foot in front of the other hand, chin slightly down to increase FOV a little
it really all depends on which martial art
your dominant foot slightly in front of the other foot

standing straight makes you a bigger target
keep on the toes
slight bounce
plant feet and explode when striking
