Nothing prepares you for things like that. Do what you can now. Because you never know what's going to happen, and if things do go towards the worst, you aren't going to hate yourself later.

We're at such a sad time right now. We're so close to being able to fix things like this, and sometimes it feels like hope is just out of reach, or that it's being held back by things which don't make sense and you're unable to do anything about it.

2019-11-28 15:25:08 UTC

Hang in there man.

2019-11-28 15:33:20 UTC

I can't face her

2019-11-28 15:33:27 UTC

I fucking can't see her like this

2019-11-28 15:35:05 UTC

I sincerely thank you for the kind words

2019-11-28 15:35:17 UTC

I appreciate with my heart

2019-11-28 15:35:58 UTC

But I feel so lost I can't fucking stop feeling buried underground

2019-11-28 15:36:25 UTC

Even though I can walk

2019-11-28 15:43:26 UTC

She's the one buried

2019-11-28 15:43:34 UTC

in the fucking ICU

2019-11-28 15:52:44 UTC

I'm sorry

2019-11-28 15:52:50 UTC

About the rant

2019-11-28 15:53:55 UTC

It's all good dude.

2019-11-28 15:54:06 UTC

It's healthy to talk about your feelings like this.

2019-11-28 15:54:21 UTC

^^

2019-11-28 15:58:00 UTC

Thanks

2019-11-28 17:09:41 UTC

We're here for you dude, I hope all goes well for her

2019-11-28 17:12:38 UTC

Fuck man, this is awful to hear, I know how painful it is to lose a relative and I hope your mom's condition improves in some way; we'll be here if you need to talk

2019-11-28 18:37:36 UTC

I'm really sorry corin. We'll keep her in mind in our prayers

2019-11-28 18:44:47 UTC

Damn. A stroke. That's harsh.
She'll never fully heal from it, but with time she will probably get to have some things back.

2019-11-28 18:44:52 UTC

@goobergopher could better inform you on that.

2019-11-28 18:45:44 UTC

But one thing is for certain... you should check on yourself. You may have some hereditary bits for the probability of a stroke.

2019-11-28 18:47:25 UTC

... also, go see your mom. Be thankful it's not alzheimer's or dementia.

2019-11-28 18:55:31 UTC

It's diabetes

2019-11-28 19:00:44 UTC

Hm.

2019-11-28 19:00:57 UTC

That much?

2019-11-28 19:08:26 UTC

I don't have diabetes, but I have been pretty thirsty lately

2019-11-28 19:08:42 UTC

... I don't drink enough water....

2019-11-28 19:09:10 UTC

Though, my thirst isn't unquenchable

2019-11-28 20:38:03 UTC

What happened?

2019-11-28 20:40:06 UTC

Sounds like a stroke, she will need speech therapy and it will be a slow process to make her walk and talk again.
Sorry to hear and praying for your family @Corinthian

2019-11-28 20:40:07 UTC

Corinthian's mother had a stroke

2019-11-28 20:40:14 UTC

I see

2019-11-28 20:40:17 UTC

Poor guy

2019-11-28 20:40:26 UTC

He needs to go see her

2019-11-28 20:40:35 UTC

Like I said.

2019-11-28 20:42:06 UTC
