in a way it is. its in mens instinctual behavior to protect and provide for their women and their kids. society has taken this and shaped it to mean just women and children in general

white knighting is a sort of hyper version of that. where the man just throws away everything including his pride, and digrnity to serve at the feet of women for validation that he isnt giving himself.

just like how eating is natrual. but people can take it to the extreme and become land whales. that feeling of wanting to protect and provide for your family can be taken to an extreme of being a total fucking cuck
