I've done my research as well about that subject, research suggests that looks matter even in non-dating situations such as job interviews, that people who are good looking have better life satisfaction and more likely to end up with jobs with higher starting salaries compared to less attractive people, more likely to get promoted, better lasting relationships as well.

So it's not just dating but if you win the genetic lottery, you do have it good in general things in a certain sense despite how you actually might be as a person.

Can't be nothing about how attraction works, it's all just the cultural beauty standards.
