The great autismus extremis.

In fairness to the homeless study, I wouldn’t count many of the houses in Mississippi as shelter in a survival situation

`In the outbreak’s wake, the global health community scrambled to deliver initiatives for increased health security. One flagship programme was the World Bank’s Pandemic Emergency Financing Facility (PEF). Under the scheme, investors who buy pandemic bonds receive generous ‘coupons’, which annually pay about 13% interest. This compensates investors for the risk that the bonds will make ‘insurance’ payouts to fight pandemics under certain conditions. Otherwise, cash returns to the investors when the bonds mature in July 2020.`

*Well I never!*

A 13% fucking bond yield, fuck me only Africa. Most of the world is paying out well below inflation bond yields.

2020-02-24 22:55:57 UTC

This particular fund isn't just for Africa though. If a payment is made from it due to the WHO declaring a pandemic, then the investors don't get their return.

2020-02-24 23:07:52 UTC

True the yield is the problem here. The article doesn't specify the legnth of the bond. Assuming a full 13% yield then the bond would repay the investor in 7.7 Years(100/13) since the payment of the bond. Its that's a 10 year bond, then an error has been made, but if its any longer then your just making out like fucking bandits.

2020-02-24 23:22:27 UTC

If the effective yield from the bond is 10% over a 20 year bond for example, you double your initial investment. JUST.

So, Dr. James Lindsay (co author of “How to Have Impossible Conversations”)is creating a new encyclopedia detailing “grievance studies.” I think this could be used as a great resource. The site goes live tomorrow. https://newdiscourses.com

How big a potato we talking

2020-02-28 05:55:33 UTC

And why do people do things like this with food

2020-02-28 05:57:01 UTC

Because people see food lihe this as inherently disposable

2020-02-28 06:01:48 UTC

I mean I wouldn't say putting any sized potato up your butt is a good idea, call me crazy

2020-02-28 13:27:39 UTC

If by "cure" you mean "rupture" then definitely put a potato up your ass to cure haemorrhoids.

2020-02-28 14:27:36 UTC

i mean hemorrhoids are swolen veins, so bursting them technically makes it not a hemorrhoid anymore

2020-02-28 14:28:41 UTC

arguably something worse, but its not hemorrhoids anymore

2020-02-28 14:29:08 UTC

it could get infected but sure

2020-02-28 21:21:14 UTC

Dont tell me how to solve my problems <a:REEE:586628142391885843>

2020-02-29 07:54:22 UTC

Something tells me a bloody infected potato anus isn’t the most convenient

2020-02-29 08:09:04 UTC

maybe its the potato in your anus

2020-02-29 22:28:29 UTC

Honestly, doesn't sound too bad for most people.
That dude is 60 and barely needed medical attention the entire time.

2020-03-01 03:01:29 UTC

Just seems like the flu for initial symptoms

2020-03-01 03:02:31 UTC

KUNG FLU

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

2020-03-01 03:02:43 UTC

And if you get pneumonia and kidney failure you probably won't be strolling on down to the hospital

2020-03-01 04:09:27 UTC

Kidney failure only occurs if you get the virus in your blood, which is bad news with any virus.

2020-03-01 16:41:28 UTC

@Jeremy-Retard you're not considering how highly mutagenic and infectious it is. That's what gives it the potential to be dangerous. If everyone gets sick and one in five people need a hospital, the death toll will skyrocket. This is totally neglecting the impact to international trade and travel
