I’m glad to see you live up to your name @Oskar the Grouch

2019-12-31 00:47:18 UTC

Are you a Islamic scholar by chance?

2019-12-31 00:59:01 UTC

thats a really shit view, property has value

2019-12-31 10:19:13 UTC

@snake sorry for the late reply, but yes i am an islamic scholar

2019-12-31 10:20:58 UTC

Lol

2019-12-31 20:56:12 UTC

I hope he dies in a fire one day, that man is insufferable

2019-12-31 20:56:21 UTC

Literally an enemy to freedom and an EU federalist

2019-12-31 20:56:43 UTC

poundshop hitler

2019-12-31 21:53:48 UTC

i am tired of that person

2019-12-31 23:09:18 UTC

The last reminder of the year which is destroy European union

2019-12-31 23:52:23 UTC

Well hopefully some more countries will leave in 2020

2019-12-31 23:52:26 UTC

Poland could

2019-12-31 23:53:25 UTC

France and Italy still have a couple of years left until their election so they probably won't be leaving

2019-12-31 23:53:51 UTC

Unless the coalition collapses in Italy again

2019-12-31 23:53:54 UTC

Maybe

2019-12-31 23:54:09 UTC

Finland and Sweden could when their next election comes

2019-12-31 23:54:20 UTC

The AFD has been doing better too

2019-12-31 23:54:33 UTC

So Germany could end up leaving eventually

2019-12-31 23:54:40 UTC

Though I think the left wing parties are more likely to try and cobble any sort of coalition rather than let Salvani have a chance to win

2019-12-31 23:54:51 UTC

I don't think they will

2019-12-31 23:55:07 UTC

Unless something major happens i think Salvini will become the next PM of Italy

2020-01-01 00:04:40 UTC

Just looking at the Finnish and Swedish polling results and party alignments and I'm not sure about them leaving. The only Finnish party that is anti-EU is Finns Party and although they're polling highest they're only on about 23%. The Sweden Democrats are in a similar position of being the only anti-EU party on 29%.

2020-01-01 00:06:07 UTC

They are doing better then they have been before

2020-01-01 00:06:26 UTC

There has been a clear rise in the popularity of euro-sceptic parties

2020-01-01 00:07:00 UTC

Mainly in France and Italy but there has been an increase in popularity in Germany and the Nordic Nations

2020-01-01 00:07:35 UTC

The Swedish Democrats are doing pretty well at 30%

2020-01-01 00:07:37 UTC

Yes, hopefully they'll keep climbing but I don't think the political systems there make single party majorities likely, I suspect Italy and Portugal are most likely to be next to go as you said

2020-01-01 00:08:27 UTC

Vox in Spain are going to be an interesting case

2020-01-01 00:08:29 UTC

Yeah, they seem very strong and if the centre collapses enough there might be a gulf between left and right to stop them creating a 'centrist' coalition just to keep them out

2020-01-01 00:09:21 UTC

>Vox in Spain are going to be an interesting case
Especially if the ECJ force them to exonerate the leader of the Catalan separatists

2020-01-01 00:10:44 UTC

I also mean in terms of their rise in popularity

2020-01-01 00:11:13 UTC

They were barely even a thing in the previous elections in Spain and then boosted to 10% in the 2019 elections

2020-01-01 00:11:38 UTC

Going from nearly nothing to 10% is a very strong increase

2020-01-01 00:12:07 UTC

Plus they seem to be one of the most radical of the Euro-Sceptic Parties in Europe

2020-01-01 00:12:11 UTC

I've not kept as close an eye on Spanish politics, that's a pretty good rise, they're a fairly new party aren't they? Or have they been there and not getting anything for ages then grown massively?

2020-01-01 00:12:45 UTC

According to the wiki they were founded in 2013

2020-01-01 00:12:48 UTC

The party participated in the 2015 and the 2016 elections, but did not do well, scoring 0.23% and 0.20% of votes respectively.

2020-01-01 00:13:04 UTC

The party obtained 10.26% of votes in the April 2019 general election, electing 24 Deputies and entering the Congress of Deputies for the first time in its history

2020-01-01 00:13:52 UTC

That's a huge jump! Hopefully they can keep it up until after their next elections. Spanish politics have been pretty left wing across the board since they got rid of Franco haven't they?
