I thought this would happen. People would bitch and moan over a stupid trailer but then the actual game mechanics would end up being really interesting.

I felt bad for the devs when the trailer first came out, come to think of it
I was like "there's a lot of attention to detail going on here.. now look at how their work is gonna get pissed on because of this shitty trailer making everything look chaotic and pointless"

Honestly I wasn't that bothered by the trailer. Yeah, it was a stupid trailer, but it didn't make me think that the gameplay would actually be anything to complain about. On the other hand I can understand the fear that once they start with stupid SJW crap it'll never stop, and that's certainly possible.
