Wow so Right-Wing
only 15.5 to go, and then down about uhm... say... 6.5
well I used to be -8 left
so
big shift tbh
DO IT
Being very left and very libertarian doesn't really make sense to me. The state needs a lot of power if you want it to actively reduce economic gaps
Political compass is very inaccurate tbh. It would probably give lib left to Antifa guys because it uses only specific libertarian things. Pro-choice, anti-religion, and pro-weed are all things most Antifa support, which pushes them to libertarian (among others), when they clearly hate free speech and want a powerful state, which are incredibly unlibertarian things. Also, gun control isnβt on there for auth/lib, and nor is free speech.
but AntiFA are Left π€
Left but not libertarian.
This is where they ought to be, but no on ever scores in that area, unless theyβre weird or something.
Left should logically be more authoritarian
They just happen to like abortion, atheism and weed so they don't want to ban them
But they are not libertarians of principle at all
They can't be
It would make more sense if the stretch was between Anarchism and Authoritarianism
Which would make Libertarianism
E N L I G H T E N E D A L T C E N T R I S M
Hmmmmm π€π€π€π€
Though this could mean absolute ancaps would not be libertarians
@Baraban I'm just jumping in so I may have missed this, but could you elaborate in what ways the Left is necessarily more authoritarian?
The left put equality above freedom, this is inherently a more authoritarian position
I'm not sure I can argue against that, so I'll have to concede the point.
This is me now
@Deleted User On further thought, making the axis between Anarchism and Authoritarianism bears similarity to Styx' Cone Theory
what's styx' cone theory?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9JlA59BFhpY
Basically the axis is on centralization of power. We are drawn from variable flavors of anarchism and it all meets hell with the centralized nexus of crushing authoritarianism
