Fuck their privacy by this point. They're treading on people's natural right to free speech in the name of tolerance, protecting people's feelings, and fighting fake news and extremism. The 1st amendment NEEDS to extended to not just guarantee protection of speech not just from the government, but also from giant corporations from Silicon Valley like Google, Twitter, Facebook, and even Paypal, preventing them from ever discriminating against or deplatforming people based on political ideologies and especially for petty bullshit like "hate speech." It's not irrational to secure people's liberties online from big tech companies, much like protecting workers rights from the factories during the Progressive Era during the late 19th to early 20th centuries.
