Was an optional book for me, but I decided to read it. Also did *1984* and *Fahrenheit 451*, as well as *Animal Farm* when I was in 6th grade (I chose that one though)

I hated reading the last one because our teacher would make us stop and she would go on 30 minute marxist monologues

We didn't even finish the text before exam week so I had to study for 3/4.5 hours nightly to catch up. I did get my A** tho, Asian style

Oh and we did the woman in black - which was fun

I had Of mice and men, Fahrenheit 451, The Road, Water for Elephants, and the Aeneid

The Road was probably the standout of all those given the fact I went to a Catholic high school
