think about the scale
You're working off of the assumption that these substances are immediately harmful. It depends on the size of the dossage, and the potency.
like he just got out of bed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if they are addictive then people will up the dosage
addiction is addiction
@Wan6Saber he looked the same last time too, he said it was due to a sickness. I hope he is okay, he's not my favorite, but damn
it functions the same way
and/or a heavy hangover
What of Portugal's decriminalization of certain drugs? Do they skew the stats?
the substances are inherently harmful at a potency that people would want to use to get high
keep in mind that I'm not necessarily talking about these people's bodies, I don't really care about what happens to their bodies
Potency and addiction are correlate. A substance that is less potent is less addictive.
its socially harmful because they're unproductive drug addicts
that is not how addiction works
people seek higher and higher potency
I'm sure there were fewer opioid-related deaths during the opium trade days than today.
Cindy is doing well, we're glad to have her home
She slept in vomit now, she sleep on methadone but she
Stopped ripping off her neighbors
Stopped taking change from strangers
Stopped shooting needles full of dreams into her arms
physically

REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
I don't think a lot of people understand that
Again, assuming that all drugs users immediately become addicts, and all addiction is harmful. Many rich people do coke, but don't immediately spiral downwards. Many drugs, if done correct, aren't even addictive. Like adderall and morphine, simply controlling your dossage can prevent your brain from developing a tolerance.
you are essentially proposing that after drug legalization, drugs would change such that people would be able to be fully functional while addicted to them @Weaboo Kempeitai which is a completely ridiculous thing to say
it doesn't matter, people won't do that
@Deleted User We were talking about taxes. Not about the legitimization of force that is being used to extort these taxes.
people won't not become addicted
these aren't arguments
>don't immediately spiral downwards
I'm not going to continue with you until you realize how stupid what you're saying is
If we're talking about drugs, what about the Portugal's model?
its just a complete rejection of reality
You don't understand. Prohibition correlates with potency. Many legal drugs, including alcohol, have become less potent.
Yes, I do think drugs can be improved to better serve society. We can make mood altering drugs that don't have as damaging side effects. We should.
Let people OD on shit.
Survival of the fittest
let nature work
Yes
@Tuze Didn't they go the route of legalisation?
