@kaetaa im really tempted to just go through this channel and copy paste all those rants from you in a big document
these are the sole reason I visit this channel daily despite it being muted
Hey these rants are educational
he's right
t.chink
>wakes up
>get pinged to a kaetaa rant
Good morning
Even though they're somewhat right on the cold water. Especially in summer, you should drink some normal (room temperature) water in between to not stress your inner organs too much.
Cold water loses the little taste it has and doesn't make your thirst go away any better than slightly chilled one anyway, don't see the point in drinking cold water
Feels cool when hot outside ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
get ur body to heat up the water, burn more calories passively?
i saw a documentary about shenzen and it showed the same thing kaeta said
kaetaa rants are worth their own china-steel copypastas
where the husband/wife would work in shenzen and the kids would be at some village hut with their grandparents
That's more common than not
But it's not always a hut haha sometimes it's a shitty small apartment
Old people run China
When I refer to cold water, i mean literally anything but hot
so room temp, luke warm, cold etc.
they think its poison
Cold water on a hot day is great
i miss cold drinks and cold beer
beer tends to be alright though
but most cold drinks are a know
tbh I reckon starbucks does meh in china because of that
They actually have this massive Starbucks in Shanghai that's 2 stories big and does more in a day than the average Starbucks on America does in a week
Most of the Starbucks are full because people love face
And they think sitting in a Starbucks is fancy and will make them seem good
But they hate the drinks and usually have no idea how to act, so its loud and dirty all the time
With people 90% order the tea drinks
They have ice coffee but I feel like I'm the only one who orders it haha
Starbucks opens at like 10-11am in china
No one wants to grab a drink on their way to work
It's the kind of place you sit forever to impress someone or think your fancy
It's interesting to see China go through what Europeans went through roughly 60-70 years ago
Status symbols were once strong here, too
Give it a generation or two, especially the Chinese that are being born now
They probably won't give a shit anymore and fancy Euro brands will finally die
I have the feeling Chinese millenials are much like our boomers
I do wonder about the nationalism bullshit though
Make China Great Again
