We're still looking for people too fill our 15-passenger van. Depending on how many we get, it will be $30 to $45, roundtrip to Charlottesville. Depart Aug. 11. Return Aug. 13. We're carpooling into a rental center in Charlotte, and we can pick up anyone en route to Charlottesville. We'll be going through Concord, Kannapolis, Salisbury, Lexington (NC), Thomasville, High Point, Greensboro, Reidsville (possibly Winston-Salem). If you're anywhere near those points, we can find a park-and-ride for you to leave your car. The point is really just to buy more time to talk and bond. Please DM me if your are interested!

I would like to attend and may be driving up from south texas. If there are people interested in splitting gas and possibly hotel, then my chances of going would be higher. Leave early Friday headed there and return on Sunday. Let me know if anyone is interested. I can fit 2 or 3.

He's a union electrician so I guess it doesn't really hurt, but if he's flying in about 10 minutes from where two goys live, and his arrival/departure from Charlottesville will be the same as ours, it just seems like it would save a lot of shekels. Gas costs, too.
