2017-07-21 03:31:22 UTC

@AltCelt(IL) and myself will be at the park early to help secure a spot. I'm pretty experienced with live sound. Is there any help I could give in that regard?

<@&321389309162815488> What is the official policy in regards to open carry?

2017-07-22 23:59:55 UTC

As far as I can tell it's legal in Charlottesville, but I wanted to check on the organizers' stance.

2017-07-23 00:22:09 UTC

@Haupstürmfuhrer Pepe open carry is heavily discouraged. conceal carry at your own risk

2017-07-23 00:55:59 UTC

I heard opn carry was okay and you won't be turned away for it

2017-07-23 00:56:03 UTC

Am i wrong

2017-07-23 00:57:00 UTC

Terribly wrong. Event organizers will ask you to leave if you open carry.

2017-07-23 00:57:16 UTC

But you know that. Hopefully.

2017-07-23 00:57:20 UTC

Understood, thank you.

2017-07-23 05:05:41 UTC

2017-07-23 05:09:07 UTC

ar15s are for pussies anyways

2017-07-23 05:20:07 UTC

Whats your plan for when you have a duty to retreat and can't use your rifle without going to prison?

2017-07-23 05:34:05 UTC

@Hand Banana what's your plan when you're overwhelmed and fucking dying and can't defend yourself?

2017-07-23 05:35:31 UTC

"fucking dying and can't defend yourself?" there is no plan at that point brother - game over @Americana - MD

2017-07-23 05:36:27 UTC

Well overwhelmed and dying won't happen when you're armed and can properly defend yourself 👌🏻

2017-07-23 05:37:12 UTC

haha I hear you - I am not counter signalling any lethal weapons on our side. - this will be a good test of agency for us

2017-07-23 05:39:08 UTC

"In just one year, the alt right has gone from relative obscurity to being one of the United States' most visible extremist movements. " Line one from the kikes ((()))

2017-07-23 05:51:54 UTC

"Extremist"... if only

2017-07-23 05:56:35 UTC

Conceal carry works just fine too

2017-07-23 06:03:07 UTC

@Hand Banana Virginia is a Stand Your Ground state. There is never a legal duty to retreat as long as you are behaving lawfully in a SYG state.

2017-07-23 06:14:00 UTC

Yeah but you can't use deadly force unless faced with deadly force

https://medvinlaw.com/virginia-self-defense-police-use-of-force-laws-penalties-defense-lawyer/

2017-07-23 06:14:43 UTC

You are legally obligated to use the least amount of force possible

2017-07-23 06:16:03 UTC

And does anyone think a jury of Charlotesville shitlibs will think you were not provoking the situation?

2017-07-23 06:27:49 UTC

@Stannisthemannis I would advise anyone who is worried about these things to not carry then. I'm not carrying, bc IMO when you carry at these events you've effectively neutered yourself, but I appreciate the fact that others do.

2017-07-23 06:29:51 UTC

I'm conceal carrying, I mean I don't go to the grocery store unarmed let alone this lol. But that's for extremely last resort. I have other less lethal alternatives like a fire extinguisher, mainly in case we face molotovs...

2017-07-23 07:07:53 UTC

Well, I always come barehanded and bareheaded, bc officers don't duck lol. But my guys will be ready with lots of nifty equipment.

2017-07-23 07:10:31 UTC

Also, in VA, if you are involved in the issue (paraphrasing here) like in a yelling match or something, you must retreat from the situation

2017-07-23 07:10:45 UTC

Check the VA Laws channel

2017-07-23 07:49:32 UTC

@Hand Banana that was a poor description of the law... you must retreat in a self defense situation where you are going to use lethal force

2017-07-23 07:50:15 UTC

It's not the same as retreating from a yelling match or even a physical altercation not involving lethal weapons...

2017-07-23 08:21:26 UTC

Hence "Check the VA Laws Channel"

2017-07-24 19:02:46 UTC

If for some reason I decide to open carry a rifle, i am bringing my M1917

2017-07-24 19:30:21 UTC

Neat

2017-07-24 23:37:51 UTC

I'm bringing Mosin-Nagants with bayonets attached.

2017-07-24 23:44:01 UTC

@Tyrone if it doesn't have a red dot scope and a tactical grip don't bother
