Charlottesville city planners had to know that we would have the rally at Lee Park anyways. By trying to move it elsewhere, this gives them an excuse if the whole thing becomes a shitshow. They can always fall back on "this wouldn't have happened if the Nazis would have done what we said" and such. The flip side is that by doing this, they pretty much guaranteed that it does turn foul. The opposition will only be emboldened more because we are defying the government's wishes.
how do you define the amount of people that can fit on 1.04 acres? i know there was a lot more than 400 people at that multicultural festival they had there last time
I'm hearing from people who have only just now decided to go because the city is fucking with it, not in spite of it.
Netflixs has two documentaries. One for Ukraine and one for Egypt about people holding illegal protests that led to the peaceful toppling of their governments https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JrZAnlIgZpg
We've been doing this with no permits since before it was cool.

Failure to Disperse from Riot or Unlawful Assembly in Virginia
It is a Class 3 misdemeanor under §18.2-407 to remain at the place of a riot or unlawful assembly in Virginia after receiving a lawful order to disperse. To convict an offender of failing to disperse from a riot or unlawful assembly in Virginia under §18.2-407, the Commonwealth must prove that a riot or unlawful assembly occurred, the offender received a lawful warning to disperse, and the offender remained at the place of the riot or unlawful assembly after receiving the warning to disperse.
Only thing that concerns me with no permit
@Johnny O'Malley Spot on way to use logic !!
If you want to be a coward and not risk anything for your people feel free

We'll be okay.
Class 3 and 4 misdemeanors, the least serious misdemeanors, are punishable by fines, but no jail time. A Class 3 misdemeanor is punishable by a fine of up to $500. A Class 4 misdemeanor is punishable by a fine of up to $250. (Va. Ann. Code § 18.2-11.)
Wew lad
I'm moving this over to virginia laws
Dont CC if you are planning on doing something illeegal
@greg-ky What happens is you get a lawyer.
Be aware, wearing body armor carries hefty penalties too, if you're arrested for a crime.
Class 4 felony
What is
Wearing of body armor during the comission of a crime. For instance, unlawful assembly or rioting
@everyone The chief of police told me we are still going to have cooperation from them with or without a permit. We have to demand we do it in Lee Park no matter what. If we back down on this we will back down on anything
This ain't the group for backing down. That's for sure
kapitulieren werden ihr nicht
That's good news
You hear this Heathens?
I'm not certain of laws applied to tourists (Canada) if arrested for misdemeanors, I think they can forbid us entry to the US in the future if we're stopped even for small things
Against the tyranny of our enemies we fight for our existence anyway.
@MadDimension agreed. We must exercise our rights.
Kessler, upon hearing that the permit was cancelled.
Remember Verden, where Charlemagne's "lawful government" executed 4,000 of us for not backing down.
Think of the fraction of the glory we will attain in 5 days.
Non Desistas, Non Exieris- Never Give Up, Never Surrender
Wotan Mit Uns.
If a Class 4 misdemeanour is so scary that you aren't going to go, then you were never serious about fighting for your people.
