I used to be a carpet fitter back when I first left college.

Part time carpet fitter, part time shop runner. Pretty decent.

Seeing the result of refitting an entire house with new carpets was so damn rewarding, honestly. Especially when the house was shit at the beginning.

And going into people's houses that were exceeding £1 million in value was gnarly.
