Imagine also unironically posting that meme while being historically illiterate to its contents, the FCC voted (two rep two dems) unanimously to toss out most of the rule as they has thus far lost most first amendment cases they had to fight over it. The fairness doctrine wasnt truely killed until the FCC aboloshed the rule requiring its implementation in 2011, by executive order of, guess who, Barack Obama.

Furthermore that meme also fails to realize why trump was elected, ever since the 90s and Clinton Administration the left has refused to play by any rules of decency. It is pretty credible that Clinton raped Ms. Broderick and took advantage of Ms. Lewinsky (yeah believe all women unless its these two). The left essentially said "well he is our guy and not yours so we dont care." Dont even get me started on the way you all treated Clarence Thomas. Pretty consistently the left has treated the right as the absolute worst thing in the history of mankind, racist, sexist, homophobic, bigot, nazi, facist, uncle tom, coon(those last two in reference to black conservatives), and all other of horrific things. In 2016 the republicans simply stopped playing by the rules, and why should they if the rules dont apply to the left? Trump was elected for no other reason than to club the left like baby seals, just as they have been doing to the right for nearly 30 years.
