Imagine also unironically posting that meme while being historically illiterate to its contents, the FCC voted (two rep two dems) unanimously to toss out most of the rule as they has thus far lost most first amendment cases they had to fight over it. The fairness doctrine wasnt truely killed until the FCC aboloshed the rule requiring its implementation in 2011, by executive order of, guess who, Barack Obama.

Furthermore that meme also fails to realize why trump was elected, ever since the 90s and Clinton Administration the left has refused to play by any rules of decency. In 2016 the republicans simply stopped playing by the rules, and why should they if the rules dont apply to the left?
