Depending on locality

2019-09-20 05:24:34 UTC

But having one round of rock salt or a rubber bullet first in the chamber to deter the avg opportunity criminal may not he a bad thing

2019-09-20 05:25:06 UTC

But I wont gamble on chance, I will never pull my gun or fire a round unless lethal force is about to be employed

2019-09-20 05:26:11 UTC

mhm

2019-09-20 05:26:48 UTC

Specifically because in a self defense case if your defense includes "well I just meant to scare him off" or "I wasnt trying to kill him" then its going to go into the "you arent really justified in using your gun if the threat to life and limb wasnt great enough to warrant deadly force"

2019-09-20 05:27:03 UTC

Firearm self defense is a very all or nothing area of law

2019-09-20 05:27:22 UTC

That being said, I would rather be judged by twelve than carried by six

2019-09-20 05:27:25 UTC

Yeah I actually get that argument

2019-09-20 05:27:46 UTC

As cliche as that may sound

2019-09-20 05:29:02 UTC

And a liberal jury can ruin your life

2019-09-20 05:29:14 UTC

The family can sue you for wrongful death

2019-09-20 05:29:23 UTC

Its a really bad position to be put it

2019-09-20 05:29:54 UTC

Thankfully most people will back down the instant ypu produce a weapon

2019-09-20 05:30:10 UTC

Yep that's what I heard

2019-09-20 05:30:23 UTC

Which is a stat they can't even accurate estimat ehow large the # of encoutners prevented from mere show of force

2019-09-20 05:30:32 UTC

wow that was a sentence

2019-09-20 05:31:02 UTC

Although watching the Hello, Murica! channel, he uploaded some news covering home invasions and shit

2019-09-20 05:31:14 UTC

The good kind

2019-09-20 05:31:21 UTC

Highly recommended tbh

2019-09-20 05:31:51 UTC

That was indeed a sentence hahaha

2019-09-20 05:32:00 UTC

Fully agreed btw

2019-09-20 05:32:35 UTC

It's that thing that we don't like to speak about, that... *masculinity*

2019-09-20 05:33:06 UTC

Almost like being shown an expectation of meeting resistance causes a majority of people to reevaluate their desire for engagement

2019-09-20 05:33:42 UTC

I like what that other guy said in particular, rather be judged by twelve than carried by six

2019-09-20 06:30:45 UTC

Gee I wonder what complete change of policies Facebook will be forced to adopt as a result of this

2019-09-20 06:31:25 UTC

Oh but silly me, why would Facebook have to change anything... hah, nevermind

2019-09-20 10:52:13 UTC

Nice

2019-09-20 10:54:08 UTC

I hope the publisher status is gonna apply in UK too.

2019-09-20 10:54:26 UTC

With their libel laws, FB is gonna get properly fucked.

2019-09-20 13:04:11 UTC

facebook is about to be sued for all it's worth

2019-09-20 14:02:08 UTC

De Blasio is out

2019-09-20 14:47:43 UTC

I forgot he was in

2019-09-20 14:56:29 UTC

@Arrias Everybody did. I reckon even HE forgot he wags in.

2019-09-20 14:58:35 UTC

haha. like someone forgetting to cancel their Netflix subscription. "Man I should really do that tomorrow."

2019-09-20 16:18:29 UTC

I mean, yes, but then there's MSNBC, CBS and other local broadcasters

2019-09-20 16:45:58 UTC

The young turds

2019-09-20 16:53:21 UTC

Imagine uniromically posting that meme, especially given that Fox News only has conservative talk show hosts, all their anchors and half of their contributors are liberals. Imagine also unironically posting that meme while being historically illiterate to its contents, the FCC voted (two rep two dems) unanimously to toss out most of the rule as they has thus far lost most first amendment cases they had to fight over it. The fairness doctrine wasnt truely killed until the FCC aboloshed the rule requiring its implementation in 2011, by executive order of, guess who, Barack Obama.
