2005 Honda Shadow Aero 750
I always re jet mine when adding more freer flowing exhaust.
Wish me luck boys. I'm about to drive 250 miles in this old girl.
Don't worry mods it's registered to me and I'm actually excited to meet SD Antifa I'll by xer a beer.
Fuck changing these out lol
You have no room to get your hands in there without taking the whole dash apart
It has about 5/6 if an inch of clearance from everything around it
I hate chevys
Eh I used to make a lot of money on dash/interior jobs.
It’s supposed to actuate the ac mode doors
However it will not self adjust the modes no matter what we try
It is supposed to do it automatically
If you are meaning you replaced the motor and it is still doing that sounds like you have a control module problem.
Or possibly the wrong motor.
No the gears weren’t in time
the actual mechanism that controls the doors was blocked with a penny? (Lol) within the AC air flow chambers that run from the fan, which didn’t allow the doors to return to default position when the power to them is off so it didn’t allow the gears which are tied to the AC mode doors to meet in the proper position so it wouldn’t switch off the defrost as the gear was not able to move the mode door actuator receiver mechanism to its fullest extent, thus the AC mode doors were left open.
I think it’s off balance lol
Only true mechanics will know what happened lol
That’s an electric choke
If that weren’t connected, could that explain my fuel riddle?
Oh no it is just for cold starts.
🤔
The mystery continues
Darn I hadn’t heard anything about it for a bit thought you may have fixed it. Didn’t you replace the carb again?
I held off because I’d have to replace the intake manifold to fit the stock carb
Whenever I turn my car off my headlights stay on, even if I manually turn the lights to "off" instead of "auto"
My temporary fix has been manually disconnecting the battery when I turn the car off and reconnecting it when I need to drive again.
I've done basic work on various vehicles for years but I've never seen an issue like this.
If I had to guess I would guess it’s your headlight switch. But would have to do some tests to verify.
I love new parts.
Solid 14 volts.
Question for mechanics from a car novice: have an 03 Honda Civic with a crack in the radiator. Honda is going to charge me an arm and a leg for another one. What’s a good place/website to find new or slightly used parts and also ensure it’s exactly what I need
Thanks in advance

Junk yard
U pull and pay
I was going to say the same thing if you have tools. Honestly you shouldn't need much experience to pull a radiator.
You don't really need much for tools either.
Thanks guys, I’ll post an update soon
Update: found a new radiator with a lifetime warranty for a quarter of the dealership price. Took a few hours to get the old one out and new one in. Thought the crack in the old radiator was about an inch wide, turned out to be about three inches (couldn’t see the whole thing until the bumper was off).
