how...?
Cuz racism.
So I’m changing the compressor on a car today and every single piece of plastic a hose was attached to was brittle and broke. So a 1-2 hour job turned into waiting for JB weld to set overnight.
I'd almost say just replace all the hoses.
It’s the plastic fittings for the hoses!
They are all brittle from heat the hoses are fine
I replaced the fittings and jb welded them in place and it held up in a pressure test
Fixing the school buses in my town
Brakes mostly tbh
Also this old piece of junk
The new starter isn’t meeting the fly wheel any ideas why?
It’s got the right clearance but it won’t meet it
Access retainer makes this a 10 minute job
Easy as 123
The starter needed a bushing on the bolt holding it in because someone had milled out the bolt mount spot on the bell housing.
Which allowed the starter to sway about when it’s gear came in contact with the fly wheel
What are your opinions on rejetting carbs on a motorcycle after adding aftermarket exhaust? I've been told conflicting things from local shops and also rabbit holed into forums and found about a 50/50 split on opinions. I'm at about 5500ft elevation.
I always re jet mine when adding more freer flowing exhaust.
Wish me luck boys. I'm about to drive 250 miles in this old girl.
Don't worry mods it's registered to me and I'm actually excited to meet SD Antifa I'll by xer a beer.
Fuck changing these out lol
You have no room to get your hands in there without taking the whole dash apart
It has about 5/6 if an inch of clearance from everything around it
I hate chevys
Eh I used to make a lot of money on dash/interior jobs.
It’s supposed to actuate the ac mode doors
However it will not self adjust the modes no matter what we try
It is supposed to do it automatically
If you are meaning you replaced the motor and it is still doing that sounds like you have a control module problem.
Or possibly the wrong motor.
No the gears weren’t in time
the actual mechanism that controls the doors was blocked with a penny? (Lol) within the AC air flow chambers that run from the fan, which didn’t allow the doors to return to default position when the power to them is off so it didn’t allow the gears which are tied to the AC mode doors to meet in the proper position so it wouldn’t switch off the defrost as the gear was not able to move the mode door actuator receiver mechanism to its fullest extent, thus the AC mode doors were left open.
I think it’s off balance lol
Only true mechanics will know what happened lol
@JesseJames This is a Holley 4 Barrel. What is this electric connection for?
