I think personalities like Metokur and Sam Hyde serve as a gateway for many people. Mockery is the most damaging way to attack something. By pointing out the ridiculousness of the p.c. culture which pushes the "diversity is our strength" meme, they erode the cognitive dissonance required to believe in multiculturalism. People won't follow something if they can be convinced that it's silly

I've never been exactly sure how pan-europeanism is supposed to work itself out

the EU seems to be the far more likely (and bad) outcome for that sort of idea

My thoughts: Pan Europeanism is the only hope and in fact could work quite well in the functionally pan-European diaspora nations (USA, AUS, Canada, NZ etc) - however it's a abject non-starter in Europe.
