I just want to maintain my strength and maybe lose a little bit for even lower bodyfat. I will go as low as possible to see if it's worth it.

2019-10-30 00:02:51 UTC

looks like i'll need to hire @reagoge to defend the farm too lol

2019-10-30 00:02:53 UTC

Those are one rep maximums.

2019-10-30 00:03:08 UTC

I don't know any one rep maxes.

2019-10-30 00:03:14 UTC

But I do know many reps.

2019-10-30 00:03:22 UTC

haha

2019-10-30 00:03:26 UTC

I'll fight you.

2019-10-30 00:03:30 UTC

I do time over tension.

2019-10-30 00:03:40 UTC

I haven't lifted in a while, but here's what I got...

2019-10-30 00:03:44 UTC

That's good! I have been doing lower reps and time under tension.

2019-10-30 00:04:32 UTC

I lift heavy and do reverse pyramid except for bullshit exercises like dips, curls, pullups, pulldowns, pullovers, etc. I do maximum reps with maximum weight for 3 sets.

2019-10-30 00:04:53 UTC

How long have you been at it?

2019-10-30 00:05:03 UTC

I don't go until I am exhausted, just enough to feel torn up then go home and eat a steak 😉

2019-10-30 00:05:13 UTC

I've only been lifting for 4-5 years.

2019-10-30 00:05:19 UTC

Do you pull conventional?

2019-10-30 00:05:24 UTC

That's some good results then, nice

2019-10-30 00:05:28 UTC

seated row: 100x10, 200 x10, 260x10 (stopped, will increase weight)
bench: 100x10, 160x13 (failed at 13s eccentric, will increase)
lat pulldown: 260x15 (failed at 6s eccentric, will increase)
Shoulder press: 100x9 (failed at 10s, will increase)
Leg press: machined max x20+ (lost count, switching back to bodyweight)

2019-10-30 00:05:42 UTC

ok now I wanna see @Xychotic food

2019-10-30 00:05:57 UTC

I was trying to identify where I was, since the goal is to hit 80% max capacity and only manage 6 reps before failure.

2019-10-30 00:05:59 UTC

@YuriBezmenov What do you mean conventional?

2019-10-30 00:06:13 UTC

Are your arms outside of your legs or inside?

2019-10-30 00:06:18 UTC

@Xychotic I suggest you replace leg press with squatting. Leg press is terrible for you.

2019-10-30 00:06:19 UTC

When you do deadlifts

2019-10-30 00:06:25 UTC

outside

2019-10-30 00:06:35 UTC

Is that conventional?

2019-10-30 00:06:39 UTC

Yea

2019-10-30 00:06:40 UTC

Ok

2019-10-30 00:06:43 UTC

Is that bad?

2019-10-30 00:06:43 UTC

Thats good

2019-10-30 00:06:44 UTC

It's also not effective since the leg press isn't enough resistance.

2019-10-30 00:06:46 UTC

Ok

2019-10-30 00:07:01 UTC

I can probably do 500lbs but I don't see the point in going higher than that.

2019-10-30 00:07:08 UTC

400lbs squat is already too heavy for me lol

2019-10-30 00:07:11 UTC

I lift much lighter.

2019-10-30 00:07:26 UTC

Growing in strength is super encouraging.

2019-10-30 00:07:37 UTC

I don't do a lot of high impact athletics anymore. I just want to look amazing naked and feel strong.

2019-10-30 00:07:41 UTC

The routine I do basically translates to strength gains every week.

2019-10-30 00:07:47 UTC

Good!

2019-10-30 00:07:47 UTC

You want to be training within 65% to 85% of your 1rm anyways

2019-10-30 00:08:07 UTC

I still need to lose weight.

2019-10-30 00:08:31 UTC

Low bodyfat (walk an hour a day and eat right) + lifting 2-3 days a week is all I do lol
