Fasting, at least for me had short term benefits for brain function.

But IMO that same effect can be found by working out a lot and eating tons of beef.

I follow a consistent exercise regimen, NO SMOKING, a diet that is high in protein and fiber. I enjoy a weight that is 101.4% of the perfect weight for an 18 year old being inducted into the Army. BMI this morning was 15.66 %. Consistency is the key.
