Who here excited for midterms? Ready for 2016 v2.0?
I know I am
I want to see Cernovich eat his own words
We heard you may be sheltering porn watchers. Quick search and we'll be on our way citizen
(on both the midterms and the birthright citizenship cases)
༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ GOP TAKE MY ENERGY ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽
@Salo Saloson What did cernovich say?
Everything. Nothing? But mostly Cerno thinks the SCOTUS will 9-0 and keep birthright citizenship
he also thinks the GOP is going to lose hard
"world class analysis"
Remember that
weird, did he give a reason?
has he ever been right on anything though?
he was right that Trump would win?
or is this his weird brand of counter-signaling (like on Kavanaugh?)
I _think_?
I think Cerno is just trying to be contrarian to get more engagement
but every time he tries it, he just gets ratio'd
@Alex Kolchak - NY yeah sounds like neocon "well we can't be winning all the time" type talk
counterpoint: yes we bloody well can
I'm not tired of winning yet
No I'm not
quite like it actually
Trumps "rocks are rifles" quote was some pretty hard trolling tbh
Been looking at the House toss ups , all of our guys including FtN say it will be a real nail biter.
I want to believe that the ideological trend is ahead of the demographic trend
I really do
I would love to see lefty headlines openly bemoaning a white baby boom
"more whites are being born than ever before: here's why that's a problem"
From my understanding, the president and the executive branch have the largest say over foreign policy. Essentially birthright citizenship is a foreign policy issue.
In order to end birthright citizenship, why does Trump need Scotus? When they have little to do with foreign policy. Why couldn't he just issue an executive order and end it?
birthright citizenship comes from an amendment
so you can't just EO it away
It's not clear at all that that's the meaning of the 14th amendment
In fact, it's not
well yes, it isn't the meaning at all
*but* the 14th can't just be EO'd into impotence
You can instruct the federal government to follow the Constitution and not continue as if birthright citizenship is a thing--- because it's actually not in the 14th A
@Salo Saloson The 14th Amendment was meant for freed slaves, not foreign migrants.
the million dollar question is whether we can achieve full white awakening before the demographic trends win.
Heidegger talks about a moment when civilization is in the greatest danger, at which it will find salvation
not to get all big-brained but that’s what it might take
what'll happen is a lawsuit will be filed against the EO and the supreme Court will settle the matter
@Alex Kolchak - NY where did Heidegger say that?
