but this was never really a secret
later on in the article it says he sued facebook over California labor law that says you can't fire someone for political activity
He wound up getting 100 million dollar payout for that
However, the 100 million dollar payout was an out of court settlement that just gave him the cash he would have otherwise taken in under the remainder of his contract.
where to sign up for facebook job and get fired for political beliefs
Isn’t he the youngest self made billionaire?
@Sam Southern - TN they won't let you in though if you've posted anything political on FB
@YourFundamentalTheorum source?
> get a job at a leftist company
> dox yourself as IE
> get fired
> sue
> get money
explain why I shouldn't do this
@Jacob heavy avow
@Jacob probably won't get enough money for life like this guy
you don't have to NEET for the rest of your life
@ThisIsChris if I had a credible source FB would be sued to hell. i know this from people I know who used to work at FB, they screen you. And they wont tell you why, they will invent some bs reason (like you didn't fit into the company culture) or something
No idea how much money you'd get, probably would just get your job back
Emotional Damages
Yeah job back plus some stress
that being said, if you are really valuable, they won't care as long as you keep your trap shut at work
I would never want to work for a company like Google or Facebook
no way I'm letting my employer access everything I've done online
@YourFundamentalTheorum that's good to know. Yep at work I just say I don't like to talk about politics. Some creepy old gay HR guy really pressured me one time too. He was shocked I wouldn't relent
Gay and HR, horrific combo
@Sam Southern - TN also a common combo, unfortunately
Gay or some other kind of lefty activist
I mean this guy was gay, other HR people have been lefty activists
They’ve gotta protect themselves when they invariably prey on someone at work. So im not surprised they chose HR as their roost
Yep it makes sense. Also HR tends to have petty power over people
I'll delete in a moment, but look how great this anime is.
@Selma ok. Nothing personal Steph but to me it is kind of weird
Weird, hm?
I don't think most people want to see it as "a duty"
It is our duty.
Duty to who?
To our race.
Flying back to CA, later Evropa
see what as a duty?
Procreation.
and ya that anime is pretty great lol
I think if people want to procreate that's ok, and if not that's ok too. I've met too many people who won't or likely won't procreate and I don't think they've failed us somehow.
Some of these people are even fully on board our ideas.
Well certainly, that's fine, they may do what they wish.
