There are too many problems even if immigration is stopped

Stopping immigration won’t change our demographic issue a ton now. They’re already through the gates. Closing up the gates is a big win, regardless of the motive, and it certainly won’t stop people from waking up.

I agree if they concede immigration is a problem, it might make it difficult for them to win.

We'll have to shut down the border and end all trade and reciprocity of travel for tourists in the next week. Our country is losing too badly.
