They don’t really sleep in a pile but they do sleep close to each other in the barn at night

They’re not really a utilitarian breed meaning that they are not considered a dairy breed because they do not produce a lot of milk, and they’re not really a meat goat either although they can be eaten for sure. Mine are all papered, pedigreed, microchipped , show quality goats. I travel along the western United States to shows. So to answer your question they are just pets LOL
