So in a way Europe spread to Africa, Australia, and America.

2018-12-31 02:27:42 UTC

Europeans in Australia and America have more in common with Europreans then Europe then North Africans even though North Africans are far closer to Europe

2018-12-31 02:28:23 UTC

hell, Europeans in America have more in common with Europeans in Europe then Africans in Europe

2018-12-31 02:29:02 UTC

Of course, they’re European

2018-12-31 02:29:39 UTC

One could perhaps (if somebody wants to make the argument to a professor I would love it) that European people are the most diverse people.

2018-12-31 02:29:59 UTC

Aka the variance in eye and hair color.

2018-12-31 02:30:10 UTC

The culture produced per square mile.

2018-12-31 02:31:05 UTC

@Sam Anderson you could argue that colorful features are a european thing, therefore is not varying that much

2018-12-31 02:31:25 UTC

Europe's terrain of mountains, rivers, valleys, peninsulas, islands and harsh winters were an ideal spot to create diverse indigenous European cultures

2018-12-31 02:31:44 UTC

@Sam Anderson Asians are very diverse, Africans too

2018-12-31 02:32:22 UTC

Look at Amerindian diversity, from the Inuit to the Aztec

2018-12-31 02:33:21 UTC

True. Every culture is adapted to its own place.

2018-12-31 02:33:48 UTC

To us they all look the same but Africans can tell which part of Africa another black is from. Whereas I can’t tell a German from an Austrian from a Dane from a Swiss etc..

2018-12-31 02:33:54 UTC

The only thing that makes Europeans more diverse is their variance with colorful features. But such colors are already a uniquely European thing

2018-12-31 02:35:49 UTC

@⚡Clark⚡ not the only thing. Very different languages, clothing and cultural weather adaptations

2018-12-31 02:36:15 UTC

Not to mention religions and (lol boomerpost incoming) the food!

2018-12-31 02:37:57 UTC

It's kinda funny that potatoes actually come from the New World

2018-12-31 02:38:18 UTC

tomatoes too

2018-12-31 02:38:33 UTC

@Wood-Ape - OK/MN when compared to Asians, I would say it equally diverse with those crtiteria

2018-12-31 02:39:21 UTC

IIRC, in terms of DNA africa is the most diverse place b/c of the dynamics of population migration. all Europeans are descended from a few 10's of thousands who migrated north thru anatolia

2018-12-31 02:39:35 UTC

biologically not culturally speaking

2018-12-31 02:39:44 UTC

Homo Nalendi posts incoming...

2018-12-31 02:40:17 UTC

idk much about very early human biodiversity tho so i could be misinterpreting whatever lecture that was from

2018-12-31 02:40:19 UTC

2018-12-31 02:41:05 UTC
