@NoobDad That is interesting and something definitely worth exploring. I would want to know the process for getting the dates into their system and what the default values are and what fields are required. This would be a very poor design from the software architect, because you would think that maintaining this audit trail would be a priority. My guess is that they might have to prioritize speed over accuracy for some data points. It is possible that these discrepancies are resolved in reconciliation, which might explain why the data is corrected in a subsequent data dump. I don't think that it is unreasonable to expect that reconciliation happens after the votes are all counted. Minimally trained (and likely tired) data entry people are probably given stacks of ballots to put into the system as quickly as they can, because they can't count them until they are processed.. If this is a field that is informational and not required, it may not be validated as we might assume at the time of initial entry, but corrected when reconciled. This may or may not be an issue, but it is definitely something to follow up on.
I don't think I could ever read an article from the Atlantic that ever uses 'fake news' in its headline.

USPS couldn't do squat here in Michigan to verify. Our "early voting" was really just absentee voting done in the clerk's office ahead of time. Walk in, fill out an absentee app, get your ballot, fill it out, put it in its envelopes, sign and hand it back to the clerk. And....what about the ballot drop off boxes?

In Washington state a dead person dropped off a ballot in a drop off box that is in front of a fire station. The person was dead before the primaries and it didn't get caught till one of the candidates in the state started investigating the ballots.

It’s not the Bubbles that count, it’s the ability to read the bubble/ovals being marked... then be able to tabulate them correctly without a rigged system putting its thumb on the scale and alter the results in a rigged game of who’s controlling the outcome of the vote.
Too funny... They signed a form that says that it was certified. It doesn't matter what they wrote next to their names. If they weren't certifying it, they should not have signed. Plus the guy said that even though the votes matched, they were saying they denied it as a protest. What a joke!
True conservatives do their duty above all else. If the votes matched, you sign it. If they don't, don't. If you are going to protest, there are ways to do that. If you have first-hand knowledge of fraud, sign affidavits attesting to the fact and give them to the lawyers and have your day in court. Anything else is un-American.

look in the article i posted the reporter asked the county employee point bland which results would be sent back to be certified the recounted numbers or election night numbers she said the origional election night numbers because thats what she was told to do
