I don't understand why these judges won't release the findings of this audit either... either way, the people should be able to know. If everything was legit... fine... but either way, we should be able to see that something was done, and these are the results.

I believe Texas argument was misplaced. It was about the Electors Clause in the US Constitution and the "Plenary" Powers the US Constitution gives them. That Power is not subject to Review or Interpretation by the State Executive or Judicial Branches. It is only subject to Review by the US Supreme Court because it is a US Constitutional Question. State Law or Process of Laws has nothing to do with the Electors Clause.

2020-12-13 19:43:02 UTC

@Dedkraken It is not as if similar things have not been done before, in that case taking four months https://www.nytimes.com/1994/02/19/us/vote-fraud-ruling-shifts-pennsylvania-senate.html

2020-12-13 19:43:54 UTC

Should have added Ricky Jay and Penn and Teller from the jump.

2020-12-13 19:45:36 UTC

That's crazy.... no one is talking about this.... and it's even more crazy that this is on the New York Times site.. lol

2020-12-13 19:45:43 UTC

Texas case was intended to set precedent for a ruling of no bueno on filings from Democrats in the future. Long game imo.

2020-12-13 19:45:56 UTC

Again... they have done the footwork... if you mean Trump Legal Team. They have done everything possible so far as I can see...

But what we cannot do is get into a situation or set a precedent where anytime a candidate is a sore loser and wants to challenge the results we go through this type circus. Its dangerous to the democracy itself.

Trump team certainly didnt help themselves and their credibility by screaming fraud to every TV camera they could find and allege a giant conspiracy involving everyone from Republican Secs of States, Biden, the dog catcher and long dead dictators but then when they are in court they say "this is not a fraud case" and "we are not saying that anyone stole the election".

Its all for show. For Trump its a way to keep his base all fired up and donate their well over 200 Million so they can pay off his debt. And then of course with those legions of Cult of Trump members behind him he becomes a king maker in Republican politics for years to come
"Oh, so RNC you want me to endorse X... well it will cost ya. Oh, you won't pay my price...... one sec. Hey Donnie Jr, get ready to run for president."

2020-12-13 19:46:28 UTC

@Cali La La exactly

2020-12-13 19:46:31 UTC

Are there any cases from the past where people were charged with election fraud and ballots were not found on the bed or someone didn't rat someone else out?@Zuluzeit @Cali La La @SoonMrWick

2020-12-13 19:46:54 UTC

Nope of course not @busillis ... which is an excellent point

2020-12-13 19:47:13 UTC

Get a room

2020-12-13 19:48:00 UTC

> Are there any cases from the past where people were charged with election fraud and ballots were not found on the bed or someone didn't rat someone else out?@Zuluzeit @Cali La La @SoonMrWick
@busillis Except for the ones where people just made an overwhelming gish gallop of claims in the hope that it would impress people, I'm not aware of any.

2020-12-13 19:48:29 UTC

Well.... yeah I agree but the State do get to make up their own rules (to an extent) on how those electors are chosen... but its so minor as to be splitting hairs, so yes I agree with you on that

2020-12-13 19:48:39 UTC

This is kind of what our legal system is built for, just saying. This is why I think it's a good thing that Rittenhouse is going through the motions and eventually to trial.

2020-12-13 19:50:00 UTC

I think those are two different issues. A criminal defendant is not using the court system to further his criminal agenda.

But that is exactly what Trump is doing....

2020-12-13 19:50:09 UTC

Changing 1700 votes is not similar to invalidating millions upon millions of votes across 4 states πŸ€”

2020-12-13 19:50:20 UTC

I'm digging on selfpinging. Almost as good as the real thing.

2020-12-13 19:50:21 UTC

To some people, they would say that's what Biden is doing.

2020-12-13 19:50:22 UTC

How is Trump a defendant?

2020-12-13 19:50:40 UTC

He isn't that is just my point

2020-12-13 19:51:01 UTC

.....except the "victim" testimony was completely detached from recorded reality. https://youtu.be/gwpvS4wN5cU

But I put that in that room.
