I always lol'd when Bill Maher and his somehow-even-farther-left studio audience yell at eachother. Usually when he has Anne or someone on, or when Maher would do his token bit of truth when Obama was not "progressive enough" and being drone-strike happy.
Maher is on my "out of echo chamber" exposure rotation. Usually gross but it is good to at least peek over the fence regularly.
Gotta at least give him credit for judging Islam with the same standard as Christianity. As opposed to cucks like Dawkins that will bash the Christian God but not dare to insult Muslims.

He's a blue collar, pro-union West Virginia Democrat. They tend to lean a bit more right wing populist on social issues and fairly left on fiscal issues.
