I would cut IAus some slack on that quote. The point of the quote is a famous enemy of that war (among the least ideological and most skilled of them, really) praising NZ and AU with grudging respect.

I always lol'd when Bill Maher and his somehow-even-farther-left studio audience yell at eachother. Usually when he has Anne or someone on, or when Maher would do his token bit of truth when Obama was not "progressive enough" and being drone-strike happy.

Maher is on my "out of echo chamber" exposure rotation. Usually gross but it is good to at least peek over the fence regularly.
