@Freiheit - CA the arrogance of the media is just astounding. This is a lot of guessing but I think it could have gone like:
1. schedule the NY abortion vote for January because Dem House and Senate and total control of the media.
2. oops didn't take the Senate
3. oops there is a government shutdown that Dems are losing
4. oops huge overnight loss of confidence in the media for the whole world to see just two days before the vote
5. go ahead and vote anyway

After all that they thought that they could legalize straight up murder. I'm waiting to hear a nuanced view of "well they can't abort 30 minutes before a normal birth" but it seems there isn't really anything stopping the mother from claiming "my mental health is at risk" or "my spiritual health is at risk if I can't complete the sacrifice for Cthulhu."
