Neighbor says I had two cops and an “official looking woman” show up at my house while my wife and I were gone. They were asking my neighbor about me and all this. He told them yeah, yeah nice family and all that (I know my neighbor very well). I called sheriffs dept. to ask what the issue was and she said I would have to call back tomorrow when the officers were on duty and that they were “assisting another department when they visited me”

I’ve heard some pretty funny RS gym stories
If anyone has any advice for us we would appreciate it ^ never been in trouble with the law, either of us, and have no idea what it could be about.
Pretty unusual stuff... Have you got a friend or family member in the police force or practicing law? You'd probably be better off asking them.
@DaddyPaddy - FL Best advice is don't talk to them.
I am not a lawyer
Yeah, that’s what I’m hearing all around is don’t talk. Have no idea what it could be about though.
Please guys let Richard sculpt his moobs in peace
You can't know what it could be or what you might say that could be used against you. If they don't have a warrant for your arrest, politely tell them you don't want to talk to them and don't open the door.
It's not like they have to tell you the truth about why they're there.

True, the police can legally lie to you, but you get in trouble

Richard is pathetic
have any of you called in to Nick's show? I kinda want to but I have no clue how
I want to as well
Nor do I
I did once
It is good to know what could go sour when talking to police (they can legally lie, they can use everything against you, etc.) but 100% of the time I've talked to police, being respectful, helpful, and friendly has paid dividends. They are professionals but any human you talk to is going to be made very suspicious and irritated if you immediately go Sovereign Citizen on them, especially when they are there to serve mundane papers or interview you about something someone else did.
I can't think of anything more suspicious and foolish than letting the cops think you don't like them.
I like the police around here they’re very nice, friendly, and helpful.
The only reason they’re mean is if someone gives them a reason to be.
Around here, at least.
Be friendly, but invoke your right to remain silent and right to an attorney.
Tell them you are a sovereign citizen
And insist that they don’t have lawful jurisdiction because you are a world traveler and are only bound to maritime law
Lol
“Arghhg, I be a pirate. What be the business of ye scurvy lawmen in me own home?” 🏴☠️
“The only thing that binds me, be maritime law!” (Cue pirate shanty)
Do what you want cause a pirate is free
You are a pirate
Tell them you’re black
