They use those words to demonize people, we don't want to demonize ourselves.

We're not even that radical, only "dissident" which means to disagree, in the sense that we disagree with some of the values propagated by the mainstream media and other institutions

Objectively we're not radical, but according to the prevailing wisdom we absolutely are radicals.

We're a peaceful, law-abiding org that seeks to have people voluntarily come to adopt our values, a goal we pursue through peaceful means by aiming to change the culture and popular values.

Well, we are radical, what we we aren't is extremists

Pretending that we would be viewed normally by average people is somewhat naive and idealistic

Again, I just think it's wise to internalize what others think of you so that you can better empathize with them. I'm not going to be surprised when my legitimate centrist views are viewed as insane to some normal people.
