I'd only ever support a non-Trump Republican candidate is the primaries if they were critical of his inaction to follow through of key policy issues, like immigration and the such. Some of his non-success is not his fault, but some is.

@Jordan - MD Well I believe there's a court battle over that rn or there has been. That whole EO thing is complex situation, but I don't think Trump is doing near as much of what he could be.
I agree with you, thankfully though trump does give us time to swell our ranks before the next attempted onslaught. I think of him as a lite and temporary buffer from those who wish us harm

The citizenship question on the census may be a pretty good way of reallocating House seats away from large, liberal, sanctuary states that inflate their population with illegals.
That's something that SCOTUS is hearing a case on this year, so Trump may do good if that holds up in court and makes it onto the 2020 Census.

I feel like there's a lot of aplolgists with Trump. For example, he could order deportations in sanctuary cities. He's chief of the executive branch and responsible for enforcement and the cities are activly harboring illegals. I would love to see what would hapoen if he had a federal agent arrest a liberal mayor.
