You seem to be describing a left wing equivalent of "purity spiralling." Which would increase cohesion at the cost of wider appeal. Left doesn't really recruit as much as it indoctrinates through schools/media and imports through immigration.
isn’t John Mark one of those guys who thinks there will be some libertarian armed uprising and that we’ll all have the perfect libertarian utopia afterwards?
@Alex Kolchak - NY Maybe not the best topic to even bring up here.
Where’s the “if you happen to get doxxed” guidebook?
Yeah, easily misconstrued post.
true. Just to be clear, this sort of thinking should not be taken seriously on the dissident right
sorry about that, @sigruna14
People have been getting doxxed for years in this org and there’s nothing regarding it, no guidebook or support group. Until some type of infrastructure is in place to handle doxxed individuals, which is inevitable in dissident politics, people doxxed for the movement will continue to be cast aside without guidance and ultimately leave the org/movement instead of utilized as individuals who, depending on degree of doxx, are now immunized against the establishments threats.
There was a support group for people who got doxed. And then those server logs were leaked by an infiltrator and more people ended up getting doxed
@TV interesting, I never heard of it. So people that got doxxed. Got doxxed again for being in a discord?
Lol yeah. It wasn't an official IE server though, which is important to note
My discord isfreak g out
I don't think many people have been doxed as a result of being in IE alone. Usually they get doxed by participating in things outside of this org
Indeed. Mostly
It's important for people to talk about how people were doxed so others can avoid making the same mistakes.
My two cents is I think some sort of support "group" or something similar for our guys who've gotten doxxed is a great idea. Yes, to share ideas on what not to do and also for how they handled it, what was learned, etc.
From what I've heard, most IE people who have been doxxed have been so due to an inability to keep IE and normie world seperate
@Alex Kolchak - NY oh ya I mean I definitely said he’s very black pulled but that doesn’t make everything he said invalid
I just thought the point about he intolerant left was sort of interesting
I think Patrick said the majority of I.E doxxing occurred because the people who were doxxed had a lot of clues in their social media, such as Facebook.
@fgtveassassin that and using the same online alias across several platforms for years
having any sort of normie social media is a rookie move at this point
Yeah same name is something I need to spice up
People get attached to their online identity, which is a big problem
I made pretty much all accounts between 12-16 years old and never though I'd be involved in something like IE
I don’t even have an social media anymore this is pretty much the extent of it
i think its tough if youre single and youre using dating apps. usually girls think its weird you dont have an IG or a FB
but yeah..just delete it. delete all of it haha
I have a faceberg but I don't do much on it
@Current Ronin yup best course of action
If you have two twitter accounts, one pseudonymous and one real, make sure there’s little to no overlap in following lists, retweet, etc. Totally separate identities with separate interests
The best somewhat non doxxy social media to have for young dudes to socialize is snapchat. Its less awkward to get a girls snapcode than her number and it keeps people engaged.
@Sam Anderson dude literally just about to say that haha yeah that one is something you can get away with
Snap stories are great bc college kids will just zip through everybody’s so you can put something clever up there.
It also gives you some social proof and shows you're not some hermit weirdo
I always hated using snap chat as a primary communication platform
When I had an IG I was following a bunch of right wing art pages and that dude The golden one. I was like yeah...I should unfollow these haha
I was thinking of getting on Twitter it seems like that’s where a lot of political debate is happening but Facebook had me totally disillusioned it’s just kinda hard to start social media from scratch with 0 followers
And twitter is kind of confusing coming from Facebook with 0 twitter exp
