Montana welcomes all white California refugees

2019-02-22 17:52:16 UTC

also the CA exodus is why I kept my WY residency lol

2019-02-22 17:52:31 UTC

Montana has a lot of small communities that are conservative and value older traditions

2019-02-22 17:52:36 UTC

One of the biggest issues with American culture is there isn't a lot of unity or loyalty to anything but material greed. Live to be in debt so to speak.

Small towns in the west can very much still have that 'howdy neighbor' vibe to them

2019-02-22 17:54:13 UTC

A CA suburbanite is an urbanite in MT. This was an unexpected lesson I learned since moving here.

2019-02-22 17:54:29 UTC

@Ryan-IL get rich still. But with the intention of building our patriotic resistance with your wealth

2019-02-22 17:54:56 UTC

Heck, a CA ruralite is practically an urbanite here

2019-02-22 17:55:14 UTC

Yeah we do need money but we should build it into generational wealth that can buy institutional power

2019-02-22 17:56:22 UTC

I grew up in Kalispell

2019-02-22 17:56:33 UTC

To big now though

2019-02-22 17:56:42 UTC

Expensive as well?

2019-02-22 17:56:59 UTC

I want land!!! A place I can disappear for awhile lol I'm big into survival and bushcrafting. Sounds very hippie when you say Bushcraft out loud
.. lol

2019-02-22 17:57:12 UTC

It’s alright I guess, no different than anywhere else in the state

2019-02-22 17:57:36 UTC

Hell whitefish has a lot of nice rural areas.

2019-02-22 17:57:44 UTC

Heck whitefish

2019-02-22 17:57:45 UTC

High connectivity will always rule low connectivity. Cities provide that. Maybe you can get around it with internet but remains to be seen.

2019-02-22 17:58:10 UTC

Cities are terrible liberal incubators.

2019-02-22 17:58:22 UTC

Whitefish is a liberal colony

2019-02-22 17:58:22 UTC

Liberal/communist same thing right?

2019-02-22 17:58:26 UTC

I’m looking at 20 acres for 40k-60k

2019-02-22 17:58:37 UTC

@Ryan-IL We moved to the Flathead from SoCal four months ago. I advise getting a secure job first. Not a lot of family-supporting jobs out here. Lots of low paying stuff.

2019-02-22 17:59:18 UTC

Ya the prob w/ the Kalispell area is its a lot of rich people moving there to retire

2019-02-22 17:59:26 UTC

What kinda job you looking for?

2019-02-22 17:59:50 UTC

Kalispell is infested with boomer colonists from the coast

2019-02-22 18:00:02 UTC

I thought I hated liberals enough to give up the arts and culture and cuisine offered by cities. Lol no

2019-02-22 18:00:06 UTC

Vast majority of my income is passive, I'm very financialy independent. Guess that's why I'm okay with expressing my views so openly, but at the same time I shouldn't have to worry about my family's saftey in doing so..

2019-02-22 18:00:11 UTC

💢

2019-02-22 18:00:28 UTC

Especially here in illinois...

2019-02-22 18:00:54 UTC

Try and get a job at Flathead Brewing

2019-02-22 18:01:01 UTC

Kalispell’s population needs to drop by about 19500 people before it can be great again

2019-02-22 18:01:05 UTC

If ya like beer that is

2019-02-22 18:01:32 UTC

I hear companies in MT like to hire veterans, so that could help me alot.

2019-02-22 18:01:58 UTC

My father pay his guys $23 and hour starting out, but 50 hour weeks usually and tough work

2019-02-22 18:02:18 UTC

Solid

2019-02-22 18:02:19 UTC

I actually like living in big cities, I grew up in rural areas and I hated it

2019-02-22 18:02:35 UTC

from experience: big cities are awful

2019-02-22 18:02:43 UTC

Cities are where the power is.

2019-02-22 18:02:47 UTC

To each his own, some like cities some don't.

2019-02-22 18:02:50 UTC

@Virgil Same, until I lived by blacks for 2yrs.
